I've been a Santander account holder for 20 years, and am considering leaving. I went to open a business account (my branch is in Penzance) but I had to go to Truro to meet David Rogers. Turned up with all my documents to be told that as one document had an extra line of address to the other then they couldn't help me. Same first line, street name, postcode etc - anyway this was a total waste of a journey. Got back to Penzance, opened an online Starling account (with none of the banking charges of Santander) in minutes and have been happily banking with Starling since. With such unwillingness to help a potential business client, they get a one-star review. I wasted two hours plus fuel. If you're looking for business banking, avoid David Rogers and Santander at all costs. They don't want, or deserve, your money...

Opening times not kept updated with lockdown. Travelled to the Truro branch from Newquay to sort out my deceased mums account which you cannot do all off that on line. ? very disappointed

When a website states you open at 9am then to find staff rolling round on the floor while you're told Thursday is staff training day....not good enough...drove half an hour to one of your very few braches and ended up half an hour late for work!! Don't even have a facility with the post office to deposit cash...and envelope system doesn't work...not good enough!!! Lost a customer!!

After visiting my bank several times I feel as if they were paid to smile and it wasnâ??t a true passion or liking for theyâ??re job and that they werenâ??t useful in any way shape or form when money was being taken from my account so with this I have changed to a different bank and wouldnâ??t recommend if you want any money left at the end of your calendar month and feel sad that Iâ??ve had to leave after nearly 10 years !
