Absolutely awful! Went into the changing rooms, there were clothes all over the floor, totally unsupervised by staff! I went into a changing room and half undressed ended up with an old woman hammering on the door demanding I let her in! I left the store and didn?t purchase anything!

Worst experience I have ever encounted at the matalan store in Truro. After spending £87 worth in their store Tracey a staff member decided to come out to my husband business van accusing me that I have walked out without paying for my items and a another till on the self checkout was showing items that hadn?t been paid her. I was loud that others in the car park heard her I had my children with me at the time. She never ask me to come back into the store politely and calmly she decided to cause a seen outside the store which onlookers were watching. To come to my husband van which clearly has my husband business name on and being treated as a criminal was not acceptable. I showed her my receipt and the bag the items were in and she apologised which is not good enough after humiliating myself, my family and I do hope this does not affect my husband work. I?m awaiting for head office manager to contact me this completely ruined our afternoon, all because this Tracey employee at Truro didn?t check properly the self checkout tills and throwing accusations at me in the public carpark. Shame on you Tracey.

I bought a very reasonably priced coat in the sale yesterday & went through the checkout with some other items. When I arrived home I noticed that the security tag was still attached to the coat & couldn?t see any way of removing it without damaging the fabric. I contacted customer services by phone who told me that the check out assistant should have removed it & the only way of having it removed was to return it to the store.
BUT I live 40 miles away! This is very inconvenient as I rarely visit Truro.
