It is refreshing in this day and age to know that such stalwarts as Malletts store still exist. In an age where Customer Service often means ringing a group of people, hundreds or thousands of miles away, who do not understand your issue and cannot help, it?s wonderful that there is a company who still believe in good old-fashioned, respectful customer care. Mallets is such a company. I had cause to speak to them today with regard to an electrical item I required and their advice was invaluable. Robert handled my call and he was polite, respectful, listened to my request and advised me on the best options for my scenario. We need more companies like Malletts who believe in serving their customers to the best of their ability to find the best solution for their issue, rather than try and sell me something I don?t want, don?t need and won?t solve my problem. 100% top marks to Robert and Malletts, long may they remain in Truro! Thank you.

We have been in the past with no issue but today we'll what can u say 3 members of staff we arrived only to be sitting there for 15 mins while other people got served before us and they came in after us. Staff kept looking over but no luck with service or a cup of tea. Not going back.

Shame the attitude of a female staff member serving on the tills downstairs let the shop down. My husband asked her where he could find a strainer, at the same time I located said item and called out to him. My husband then told her I?d found one, she made a comment to another customer that my husband couldn?t hear then rolled her eyes and stomped off. This is not the first time we?ve experienced this type of behaviour from her.

We bought a garden table from Mallets that was delivered the next day. It wasn't an easy delivery for the men as our back garden is down a very tight set of steps. They had the opportunity to leave it at the front of our house for me to deal with but insisted on trying and succeeded.
Many thanks to these two chaps and the lovely lady in store who dealt with us. They are a credit to your store!

A great selection and amazing shop for Truro, good kitchen equipment with great prices. I come shopping here every time I come to travel but as a younger customer I have to say the staff are becoming very rude at the front desk ( if you ask for a item seem to get angry ) this is not the 1st time this has happen.
