Johnson?s Truro is the best dry cleaners I?ve ever used. The staff are lovely to deal with and are always friendly, courteous and professional and the service they provide is invariably speedy and to the highest standard.

The woman who works here (Sue) comes across as an incredibly rude person.
She has a general apathetic attitude towards everything and everyone and appears to have a massive problem with the parcel service that operates out of this store.
Having on many occasions, witnessed her notice people at the counter with parcels, only to disappear out the back without a word, for an unreasonable length of time.
She does not react well when people use the bell on the counter, sauntering out, again, with no interaction or communication let alone a ?sorry to keep you waiting? which is probably because she isn?t!
Customers just seem to be a massive inconvenience to her.
I have many times smiled and attempted to engage in pleasantries with her. It wasn?t reciprocated. I have only stopped short of saying something directly (to her) due to the fact that she permanently looks like she?s on the verge of a meltdown and for that I have some sympathy. However, sympathy only gets you so far when your behavior and attitude is constantly and consistently rude and discourteous.
For this reason I will not be using this store again, including the dry cleaning services as I feel her general demeanor makes people feel very uncomfortable.
I notice there was some response to other poor reviews, assuring they would be looked into. Not sure if theres any weight to this as the store manager is her husband (who I have always found to be helpful and pleasant enough) and therefore unlikely to give out a warning or disciplinary.
Nothing changes and her terrible customer service continues to be a stain on this business that even they can?t remove.

Telephoned to ask if they could shorten the sleeves on a coat. Told that it would take 30 days and that I would have to measure the sleeves myself. Quicker to have it done when I next go up to London, where a small local dry cleaners can measure and turn round alterations in under a week.
No one was discourteous, but I had a clear impression Johnson?s would rather I didn?t use the alterations service. So I won?t.

Very good, I use the EVRI drop off point and it?s amazing. On my first time one of the lady?s explained exactly how it works and teached me about the setting on Vinted and helped with getting the labels out, she also told me where the other drop off point where. It was so welcoming and wholesome.

Good quality service. Had a number of items dry cleaned meaning I wasn't able to make use of their 24 hour turnaround, but I'd planned ahead so that was fine. Was quite surprised how much it was to dry clean a suit these days but hey, what doesn't cost a lot these days? They did a nice job and the suits came back clean, fresh and ironed. Overall, very pleased. Thank you ?
