Very tasty crab soup and boullabaise. Portions were small .The hake kiev and lemon sole were OK. Should order a side salad.

The food was so well balanced with its seasoning and acidity. We didn't need to add any condiments to it and could enjoy it exactly how chef wanted the customer to have it. The waiting staff were very polite with a balance of friendliness and professionalism. We felt so at ease and looked after by them.

Starter of Crab nachos wow! Superb, followed by an amazing seafood platter. I?ve had some platters in my time but this was the best ever.The accompanying sauce was perfect.Great service all round. Thanks.

Wonderful seafood restaurant in Truro. Hidden off the main square so slightly anonymous, but an excellent find. Best to book your table in advance as does get busy quickly. The food we had was both delicious and wonderfully presented. Such a lovely place.

Incredibly good and friendly service, with a really lovely atmosphere.
Cocktails were nice but a bit too sweet and pricey. Unfortunately the food was a let down. For those prices, bigger portions are expected, and overall the food (lobster thermadore and a number of sides) was just kind of ok.
That being said, I would definitely recommend the catch of the day out of everything. This was 5/5. Delicious flavour. Would come back for this only. But not much meat on the fish.
Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian main option. Sides were not labelled.

The power of Google as we would not have happened on Hooked without the reference. A rainy lunch time and we fancied some really good fish and chips - friendly welcome , smart restaurant, good menu - a sense of quality about the place. Our fish and chips were excellent ( though i would rather the fish was not piled on top of the chips - I blame Masterchef as most restaurants now do this - i like to see what is on the plate and have nothing hidden) - really tasty. Coffee to finish. Excellent experience with professional service - thank you.

Amazing food and the staff were super friendly. Cocktails were amazing, the espresso martini's should come with a warning as they are so delicious but very strong!

We had dinner at this place and it was an excellent taste experience. We ate excellent fish and chips and a specialty of the day: breaded cod fillet with vegetables, very tasty indeed. The staff is very welcoming and smiling, available to support choices by offering explanations. There is a nice atmosphere in the room, which is very spacious and well-kept. Absolutely recommended.

Myself and my family of 7 went for dinner this evening (one baby and one 4yo). The staff were so lovely and accommodating, our main server was Soleil, who gave us a very warm welcome and was all round sunshine, really living up to her name! Thank you Soleil.
The food was incredible! Props to the chefs!
We had a mixture of things between us, from the fish curry, steak to the seafood platter. Along with starters and deserts for everyone too.
Would highly recommend a trip. 10/10!
Kid-friendliness: Staff were so friendly with the kids. They brought over some pencils and colouring for my 4yo neice.

Came here for dinner with family. Service was super friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is lovely, I particularly enjoyed the music. We ordered the catch of the day (ray), lobster thermidor, crispy squid and the vegetable options from the starters. The only thing worth getting was the catch of the day which was delicious. Overall though, portions are very small for the price and we ended up having to go for a second dinner elsewhere. Cocktails were nice though, I'd recommend the tipsy mermaid for a spin on a piña colada. Maybe worth coming to Hooked for a drink and a side but not for a meal.
