I am a regular at the Crystal shop and absolutely love visiting this little gem of a shop nestled in a lane by the Cathedral.The ladies who work there are knowledgeable and always so genuinely kind, they make my visits truly special.Their expertise in crystals is evident and they always patiently answer all of my questions. They take the time to look through their reference books if the answer isn't obvious, and they both seem to have an absolute passion for the craft. It's a delight for an enthusiast like me to find such wonderful people who are so obviously knowledgeable about crystals!The shop has a huge variety, and the space has a unique energy that keeps me coming back. It's such a lovely warm atmosphere.I highly recommend the Crystal shop, whether it is the in depth knowledge of the friendly staff you are looking for or just a quick stocking filler, they are worth seeking out!

I?ve never left a bad review but I?m just so appalled by our experience - homophobia and rudeness from staff members. My girlfriend and I went in here to shop despite reading all the bad reviews, because I absolutely love crystals and I thought it was worth a try. The shop itself is alright but the staff are horrible. There were two people at the till, an older dark-haired woman (seemingly the same woman mentioned in the other bad reviews) and a younger blonde woman. Apart from the chilly welcome, the young woman at the till was loudly complaining about many different things to the older woman. It was fine until she started to say, and I quote: ??and it?s the same with the LGBT community?? with a sneery tone and then stopped herself, saying something along the lines of: ??oh, I?ll stop. I?ll wait until they?re gone.? once she realised we were in earshot and probably noticed that we are a queer couple. The older woman looked over at me nervously and they immediately stopped talking. I couldn?t quite believe what I?d heard and didn?t know what to do. I stopped browsing soon after that and we did buy something, although I partly wish that we hadn?t. I wish I?d called the young woman out but I just felt so uncomfortable. I just wanted to buy what I was looking for and leave quickly. My girlfriend heard it too, so this definitely wasn?t something I misheard. The older woman then spoke very condescendingly to us as we were paying. We remained friendly and masked our discomfort before leaving. I hope something can be done because this is just unacceptable. To experience homophobia (even though it was indirect and mild) and such rudeness from the staff whilst shopping is awful. I particularly wouldn?t have expected homophobia in a crystal shop - somewhere that specialises in all things peaceful and spiritual. It just made us feel so uncomfortable and unsafe. We will never shop here again whilst those horrible people are there. Believe the bad reviews.

Absolutely amazing, team are always eager and happy to help and lovely to talk to when you are unsure of what crystals to choose, staff are also happy and very friendly.

Hands down my favourite shop. The manager and staff, even the newbies, are extremely knowledgeable. They obviously love what they do and working in such a great store. So much variety and beautiful, carefully thought out displays that changes with new pieces coming in often. They take the time to understand and get to know customers, which is a rare commodity in some stores these days. Always picks up my energy and makes my day complete even if I am just browsing. Often I go in for gifts for others, which typically includes gifts for me too. No pressure to buy and you feel supported and sure of what to buy, always with invaluable advice the staff give.

I have used this shop on many occasions and have always found the staff to be very sweet and friendly. Following a misunderstanding and change of mind the staff were compassionate and generous with me. I will definitely be visiting again to buy more colourful treasure!

We visited Truro Crystals today and were really impressed with the lady and gentleman serving us. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were very impressed with the crystals we purchased. Will definitely be back. Thank you again.

Very, very, unfriendly and rude woman who works here. We went for late night shopping to buy Christmas gifts for some family and friends and would have spent a fair bit. instead we were harassed right at the door for face coverings though we were clearly exempt. This has been the absolute worst shopping experience I ever had - in my life. embarrassing, rude, and just plain illegal. To this effect I will paste the government "guidelines" here because your member of staff is not only rude but IGNORANT and will bring a disability lawsuit right to your door. SHOCKING service and illegal behaviour. READ THE BELOW PASTED FROM GOV.UK AND EDUCATE YOUR RUDE STAFF"Exemption cardsIf you have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering:you do not routinely need to show any written evidence of thisyou do not need to show an exemption cardThis means that you do not need to seek advice or request a letter from a medical professional about your reason for not wearing a face covering.Carrying an exemption card or badge is a personal choice and is not required by law."you are literally the WORST retail shop in all of Truro and dare I say Cornwall. absolutely clueless and you will have a disability lawsuit on your hands unless you educate your rude and ignorant staff. Normally love it here, apart from today the customer service was poor. The rude French lady was both disrespectful to myself and other customers. She was abrupt and snappy at customers who were buying from the shop.

Purchased from here a couple of days ago?the guy in the shop was super friendly and helped with mine and my daughters purchases. I enjoyed the experience and will definately be back?5 stars

I and all those I have pointed to this shop, have had nothing but outstanding treatment and assistance by the manager. As another reviewer pointed out it is utterly disgraceful in this day and age to be targeting someone based on their cultural background. And targeting is exactly how it comes across in those reviews. Very misguided behaviour indeed and as crystals are meant to be part of one's spiritual growth I seriously hope that those who have behaved viciously in their words/actions will soon realise that we are here to be kind to one another and help where we can. If we have clashes then we must deal with them with integrity. As I said before I've always had great experiences with the manager in this shop over the years and have witnessed the same with other customers in the shop.

The lovely polite 'French lady' (as she keeps being distastefully referred to) is very helpful and chatty to anyone who comes in :) it's been a pleasure starting my hobby in collecting crystals by going in here and getting help and advice. Have purchasd quite a few standalone pieces and pendants now and she is always accommodating and polite. They often do great sales and deals too! I don't have an issue with following capacity amounts for such a tiny shop, or leaving drinks at the door etc.*The shop's capacity / mask rules are their own and either follow the private property's rules or don't shop there :)*
