Needed a decent pair of walking shoes for an upcoming trip. So pleased I went to Cotswold Outdoors. They measured my feet, which doesn't happen in some other outdoor/camping shops, and advised me properly to get me the best option. Really good service and I'm delighted with the shoes.

Staff member upstairs in footwear department just didn?t want to be there today , felt like I?d put him out by asking about boot cleaning products? a similar product that I was looking for was out of stock and he clearly couldn?t be bothered explaining what other products they did have ? sorry to have been an inconvenience Cotswold outdoors staff member I will look elsewhere in future!!!!!

Had a refund for a new pair of walking boots where the eyelets pulled out on one boot. I was offered exchange but preferred the money. It went on a card and almost a year later Christmas is coming and I new it needed using. Could I find it, no. So whent back and explained the situation. At first I was told to go to customer care, but some considerable time later, we were looking at the gear in the store.... the same guy comes up and says he had everything we needed to use the money from the card. So used it up there and then. A very happy end for me. Thank you! And Happy Christmas!

I've just had walking boots checked here. The problem with the old ones was instantly spotted and new ones fitted. I've now had two days with the new boots and they are great.

We visited the store today and received excellent customer service from the staff. We had our eye on a particular tent and the staff put it up for us so we could try it for size before buying. Thank you!

I have shopped at Cotwolds Outdoors, Truro, twice in the last month and each time I have had excellent customer service. I find it really tricky to find comfortable hiking boots because my left and right feet are not the same size, and narrow at the arch but broad at the toes. I was therefore extremely thankful of Ashley?s encyclopaedic knowledge and infinite patience. He gave really great advice on what type of boot best suited my awkward feet, as well as what socks and inserts could help. Thanks too to Scott for being very kind.

Some of the staff need some customer service training, I asked about children's clothing and was told go on the Internet. Very unhelpful.I then went straight round to Mountain Warehouse who were brilliant.

Walking the south west coast path with my girlfriend and half way through our beloved MSR tent poles snapped and ripped through the exterior sheet? a manufacturing defect which apart from that the tent has been amazing! We purchased a year ago from Cotswold outdoor, Scott and the other lovely staff at Cotswold Truro were amazing in sorting through our warranty and getting us back on the path as soon as possible. Excellent customer service! Would recommend :)
