Visited here while camping. Such a welcoming place. The food was fantastic, big portions and lots on offer. Very much enjoyed and we wish it was our local!?

We stayed here, in the carpark in our motorhome after watching York play and win Truro.
We had food in the restaurant which was lovely, typical great pub grub, the place was bouncing, had a band on and was busy, fantastic atmosphere for a Saturday night, we had a brilliant time and will definitely return.

Great rooms Really good old fashioned pub staff and locals really friendly very good and quick service

Fabulous food, nothing too much trouble. Apologies for the water coming due to storm Dennis. Fanastic staff, made us very welcome, there for a 90th birthday lunch.

Came here for a family meal whilst we were all on holiday. Service was decent, everyone was really friendly, but the food was pretty shocking.
Chilli con carne was so bland and the rice tasted like it was one of those microwave pouches. The desserts weren't much better, lemon meringue tasted like it was a frozen one, the lemon filling was grainy. The brownie was burnt around the edges to the point you couldn't stab your fork in it.
It was a real shame as it is a really nice warm friendly pub.

Took my toddler on slide only to see the wooden rail come away . Luckily caught her just before she brained herself then noticed nails sticking out . Took the rail with nails into the bar to tell barmaid . Carried on having some chips and a few beers all 5vof us . Only to be treated as if we had done something wrong for stopping my kid breaking her neck or getting jabbed by a nail .Never go there again .Free bouncy castle though

Food and service ok but pub was in need of tlc, eg car park weedy, toilets with tiles coming off wall and children?s play area in a poor state.
