Had a catch up with two friends who are about to leave Cornwall. Great breakfasts, both vegan and non-vegan. Good cup of tea and excellent company. Plus you go past the books to reach the cafeteria. How would you better that!

Wow! What a wonderful experience this place gives!So much lovely stuff for the garden and then the cafe ............. the food is to die for. I had a halloumi sandwich, which was huge and delicious, followed by homemade apple and berry crumble. Gorgeous!

I rang up regarding some houseplant potting compost, very helpful gentleman, manager? Maybe. Advised where the compost would be how big the bags were, how many were left & I could have some put by for me. Till staff great to. All very seamless?. Friendly to.

My wife booked a table for yesterday to have Christmas menu was told my staff it was on and also when turned up another table where eating the Christmas menu only ti be told they had know idea of our booking and also no Christmas menu was on.Hate to have salads and scampi and chips. REALLY...

Poor food, asked about chicken curry told it was medium spicy by a dismissive staff member when it came out was mild and tasteless. Chiabatta was not very good either, overpriced, poor food won't come again

Visited for the first time today and every member of staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I am a novice gardener and the advice received was exceptional. Helped me to the car with the heavy stuff without even asking. Thank you!

We went in for a spot of lunchThe woman at the till just looked at us and carried on wrapping cutlery!We only ordered soup as on a tight time frameIt took over 20 minutes to arrive ? for a bowl of soup I thought it was rather excessiveWhen I queried it I was told ours was the next ticket...Then 2 members of staff stood at the till, clearly talking about the fact I'd queried the time scaleWe were not told there was a wait or I wouldn't have minded. But from the woman's attitude and posture, it was clear she didn't careOn this alone I would be reluctant to go there again for food or recommend itThe battered fish I saw looked overcooked and the jacket potatoes looked the same. Dry and over doneWe went to buy some confectionery to cheer ourselves up!!The prices even for a garden centre was pure extortion!! A small bar of marzipan chocolate was £3, a small Christmas shaped bos of ferror rocher was £10Needless to say we did not partake, the whole place was so cold I couldn't take my coat off. Everyone in the cafe still has coats onI wouldn't go back or recommend, garden centres are not usually known for value for money. But £7 for an average bowl of soup and crusty roll was not worth the trip

Go in regularly, brows there products and have lunch xmas products being put out and they are looking nice.Going there for Xmas dinner, last Xmas dinner was grand so should be the same this year. billm.

Went for lunch. Had a Caesar salad bowl, absolutely fantastic and very tasty. Very quick, very polite service we took home gorgeous scones so we will be back.

All staff were very pleasant, actively acknowledged me, really nice! Fantastic selection, super for unusual gifts. I had my lunch in the cafe, staff were run off their feet but simply lovely, my lunch was superb. Thank you.
