Place has been around since long before I was a baby, always loved the food! Even now I joke to my parents I only come to visit as an adult is for the chippie! If you're a regular and live around here or you're just passing through and fancy a meal I will ALWAYS recommend this place. Absolute banging food and I miss it when I go back to Bristol after a visit.

Craving for a chippy before a 5 hours long drive and maps showed this place. Decided to drive there and went for a chippy. Wow fantastic freshly cooked cod and chips with peas and curry tasted so good. Worth trying out if anyone fancies a chippy in cornwall. Top level.

Crispy where it should be crispy and soft where it should be soft. Excellent quality fish and chips made with care. I know very few that are as good.

First time trying Top Shop and it?ll be my last. I stopped in around 7pm on a sunny Friday, waited around 15mins as they cooked to order, I don?t mind that, then drove 10mins to a nice spot to enjoy them. Sadly I was greeted by pale, soggy, hardly-cooked chips - they even tasted uncooked! The fish itself (cod) was lovely and fresh, but the batter was extremely greasy, literally dripping off when I held it up. Fish n chips is my favourite, i know good fish n chips and this definitely wasn?t it! They were so bad it?s prompted me to leave my first ever google review - while the majority of my portion sits uneaten. Disappointing to say the least, save your money!

This is a REAL chippy.
Fair prices, great flavour and all the options you could possibly want (& more) from your local chip shop. Fish was excellent with the batter just right.
Just sad I don?t live close by so I can visit more often as this place puts many others to shame.

Lovely Fish and Chips best in Torpoint, it's the beef dripping that makes the difference .
Always popular, Frank knows his regulars and the young staff are friendly and efficient.
Parking: Can be htricky to park as its in a busy residential street

It has always been amazing since I was 5 years old trying it for the first time. This is the first time I've been back in a couple of years due to moving away. Ive Only given service a 4 star due to the lad behind the counter.
