It's a bit tricky to get to, single lanes. But the location is excellent by the Estuary. O high tide tables are by the water (outside). On low tide there's a tidal road, adds to the fun day out. The Sunday roast was excellent. Great service. Friendly.

We came in for a late Sunday lunch, unsure if they would be able to accommodate. We sat outside with our son and dog and were met with a lovely reception.
We ordered 2 beef brisket dinners and a child's dinner. The food was amazing. Portion reasonable and selection of vegetables good. The best part was the meat, it fell apart and was well seasoned.
Afterwards we enjoyed a dessert to share and sat looking across the estuary. We will return on our next visit to this unspoilt place.

Always a wonderful time visiting the wilcove. The staff are always friendly, the beer garden is a sun spot, there's always a friendly dog to say hello to! Not to mention the food is high quality and worth the price! Great selection of food and alcohol too, even alcohol free! I highly recommend the wilcove to anyone!

You have a good view at the bay and not much people around.
If you want to telax at a pub after taking a stroll across the countryside its perfect.

Young waitress got orders wrong , dishes missed but rectified. My biggest issue is pricing. Chicken wing starter is £8.95! 3 wings that cost 54p even buying at an expensive supermarket charged at that rate. I am an ex publican and the rule is 4 x cost plus vat. The price charged is 54p x 1650%! Roughly.
People wonder why pubs are struggling, ripping people off and don?t care, never ever be back. Can?t even offer a chip that is looking fresh or cooked. Terrible

Recently visited this establishment and was overwhelmed by the service provided. A big thanks to a lovely young lady believe her name was ellie ! she showed me to my room and delivered a lovely crisp pint of fosters to my room. i wasn?t even aware that room service was available - she recommended me places to go and as a solo traveller it was lovely to see someone so knowledgeable! she did offer to show me around but some ruffians appeared one of which lacking hair claimed the place was haunted so i had to drink my crisp pint quickly and leave the establishment. will definitely come back( i hope ellie?s is there to offer her services!)

The location and pub itself is very nice. Service was abit slow considering it was quiet but there only seemed to be one waitress working.
The food was abysmal, felt like it had been reheated out of packets.
Would go back for a drink but nothing else.

Had a wonderful couple of days at this lovely little pub. All staff were so kind and friendly, and very considerate of my naughty dog.
Had dinner in the pub on the first night, the lamb liver and it was delicious, I would absolutely recommend it. Everything was very fairly priced including breakfast. I had a large full English that was delicious and very generous.
Room was very clean, warm and spacious. The view out the bedroom window was beautiful, it's a shame it was storming the whole time me and my partner were there.
10/10 fantastic little place. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing stay!!!
Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were beautiful and incredibly dog friendly. Food was to die for and incredible for the price. Would highly recommend.
