Fabulous location. Very comfortable bed. Service was mediocre due to lack of staff and food was poor. Good job there is a fabulous tapas restaurant 100 yards away. Waited nearly a hour for “English breakfast”, but it came with some sore of continental sausage that tasted more like frankfurter. Not rushing back

We were staying in Downderry and were very pleased to find this pub on the way down to the beach. On a nice day there is a lovely patio area overlooking the beach and the sea views. We ate here a couple of times and it is probably best to book if you can as it was quite busy when we were there. There was a special offer...

We decided to pop in for lunch while walking along the beach. It was a Saturday lunchtime and there were only 2 staff on (I'm assuming outside the kitchen) but they were both lovely and our fish and chips still came out fairly quickly. The young lady in particular was a credit to the establishment. Food was tasty - I've...
