I stayed here recently and can honestly say it felt like a home away from home. I have PTSD and I?m neurodivergent, so travelling can be daunting ? especially as this was my first solo trip in a long while. On my first night I was feeling a bit unsettled, and the room I?d been given wasn?t ideal for me personally. Tikes, however, was incredibly kind and immediately offered to move me to another room if one became available. That thoughtfulness meant a lot.
From then on, I just felt safe, comfortable, and completely welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is delicious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The inn?s location in the heart of Tintagel is perfect ? you can step out and be surrounded by history, scenery, and everything the village has to offer. The views around are so pleasant, I was able to walk around feeling so safe even late at night or early hours of morning.
I also want to mention how much I appreciated the care and attention from everyone here. It?s not just a place to stay; it?s somewhere you can truly relax, and for people with anxiety or nervous system sensitivities, that?s priceless.
The prices are reasonable, the setting is charming, and my experience was magical from start to finish. I can?t wait to return and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Cornwall.
P.s dog friendly!

Had a gorgeous meal after visiting the castle, the best of all the meals we had whilst on holiday in Cornwall. Fish and chips, the batter was amazing and the fish so fresh. My sons had the wagu beef and chicken burgers, both rated 10/10 by them. I had the aubergine and lentil curry, it was delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Highly recommend.

My husband and I only stopped in for drinks after visiting Tintagel. We didn?t have a meal. Staff were friendly. The drinks were very refreshing after being out in the heat. The toilets was clean.

This place is the real deal. What made our stay here even better was the restaurant. We ate four meals (breakfasts and dinners) and each was incredibly fresh, creative and delicious! The pork belly was just divine. The salads - yes! - tasted like they were just picked (and washed of course:) and really, the best Stickey Toffee Pudding I?ve ever had. Really well done!

Disinterested bar staff and tables piled with empty glasses, can't have been cleaned for several hours, on a Saturday too.

Our 5th time coming to Tintagel just to visit this pub, as usual staff, service and food was spot on! Probably one of our favorite places to eat! We mentioned when booking this was a special evening for us and we were truly spoilt. Thank you!

Stopped in on a walk around the coast. Was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the chicken burger was. Crispy chips, fire and friendly staff. Lush old pub with original features so it has plenty of atmosphere and charm.
