Hot chocolate was nice. Not the cheapest, but that is because it?s a tourist cafe.

Nice place to relax and sip refreshments..bit pricey as one would expect right on top of tourist attractions...beautiful scenery all around ....plenty of seating...Only downside was coffee was very weak indeed...could do better as cornish coffee is usually best if you like your brew...unfortunately this tasted like natts!Better off going into village as there's plenty of cafes there serving most things food and drink...

Clean, polite staff and reasonable prices given location. The Cornish savory coffee or tea prices at £5.95 was excellent value. With hot drink, Cheese, Apple chutney and Scone. Recommended.

The high quality of the food at this cafe was quite impressive. We were a party of 10 ranging in age from 9 to 81 and we all loved our lunch. Several of us are vegetarians and we really appreciated all of the vegetarian and vegan options. It was one of the best meals on our trip.

After the walk down to the beach we stopped and ordered cream teas each. It was so windy that one scone fell on the floor and the staff kindly replaced it immediately. Dog friendly.

The pasty was delicious reasonably priced and the ice creams were even better, as it was bank holiday it was very busy so did run out of ice cream choices ?

Beach Cafe is the cafe at the bottom of Castle Road near to the footbridge for Tintagel island. It is run by English Heritage and is located in repurposed buildings from the mining industry. It sells a variety of hot and cold drinks, cakes and light lunches. The closest car park is The Castle Car Park on Atlantic Road (in the Wootons Inn). I think it was cash only at the time of our visit (£3.50 for two hours, £5 for all day). There are plenty of other car parks around the town if this is full. You need to allow 20-30 minutes to walk down to the cafe from the main road. There are also great views looking up at the footbridge and island and of the coast. We saw that there is a Land Rover service to take you back up the (very steep) Castle Road. This is not managed by English Heritage and there is a small fee. It's worth every penny!

Asked for two hot chocolates told them they were for children they served them up snd before I could check my grandson had taken a gulp and burned all the inside of his mouth and tongueTool them back and told then they seemed uninterested tipped half out snd topped up with milk. Please check how hot chocolate drink is before giving your children, though I told them they were for kids they still swerved them steaming hot.

Stopped for coffee and hot chocolate, shame they ran out of flakes for the hot chocolate! A bit expensive, but it was a cold wet day, and it is a tourist attraction. Polite and helpful staff.

A decent small café beneath the castle overlooking the rocky beach. No parking at all for customers except for the shuttle Land rover to ferry people back to the ticket office.
