Good location, but worst value for money ever if you?re hoping for a nice cream tea. I was so disappointed. £7 for one small scone, and a tiny plastic pot of cream and jam from the supermarket? worst £7 I ever spent!
They wouldn?t swap the tea for a kids juice box either?

The Tintagel Castle Beach Cafe is an absolute gem! What truly stood out during our visit was the incredible kindness & helpfulness of the staff. Even though they were technically closed, they went above and beyond by getting ice cream for our children. This small act completely made our kids' day, and we were so incredibly thankful for their thoughtfulness.
It's rare to encounter such genuine care and willingness to help. This level of service is truly exceptional and deserves more than just five stars! If you're visiting Tintagel Castle, make sure to stop by the beach cafe, you'll be greeted with warm smiles and potentially even a little extra magic! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for such a memorable moment.

Went here yesterday for the first time after our walk and explore around Tintagel. The ladies and the young chap who worked in the cafe were absolutely brilliant and really friendly and funny. Great bunch. The pasties were absolutely epic! Great little cafe to visit after a walk. Gave us energy to walk back up the hill.

Very expensive for what you get given. I guess you have no choice so they can charge ridiculous prices! The burger was ok but came with no fries or salad!

A handy place to shelter from the rain! We had deluxe hot chocolates which were nice but we were disappointed that they were served in paper cups. They were the compostable kind but, it felt a bit wasteful and could be improved by offering reusable cups for those staying in.

Quite a nice cafe with good views and seating but little to no options for gluten free or vegan diets.

Such a lovely experience after exploring Tintagel castle. We sat outside and ordered from the hatch from a warm staff member. We had a delicious deluxe hot chocolate, slice of lime and passion fruit cake, a sausage roll and a very delicious curried vegetable pasty. A lovely spot to enjoy the views and food before the walk back.

Do not bother with this typical English Heritage rip.off cafe ..there are much nicer ones with better food in the village at top.Very expensive and the plain scone we had was dry hard and crumbly more like a biscuit than a scone.I had a savoury cream tea..the cheese scone was ok would have been nicer warm and the cheese was bland..the chutney nice but the tiniest tub.It is served conveyor belt style in a cardboard tray..ditto the cups. The only thing making it worthwhile is its strategic location with amazing views.Next time i would wait until i got back up to top for refreshment. But it fits with the over priced gift shop selling expensive tat..£40 for a mass produced
small statue..really?Fridge magnets cheaper in gift shops above too.The little museum display good and toilets welcome..but a tourist trap.Of course it in no way detracts from the amazing castle ruins and landscape.

After ordering coffee we were told no bacon rolls available until 11am! Bit late for breakfast so went elsewhere.
