Sunday roast par excellence
What a find!!! Cannot fault the veggie or roast beef roast we had for lunch today sat amongst regulars which spoke for itself. So many veggies served separately they beat us but my husband would NOT leave any of his generous serving of beef untouched, he declared it the best he'd had.
My veggie nut roast was cooked to order, well worth the wait. Selection of side veg so so tasty. Shame we hadn't discovered this gem before, having holidayed here for so many years. We'll be back for sure.

I always research restaurants before we visit an area and Crossbow had the best pricing and something for everyone. I had the Bacon and Brie Toasty and it was the best I've ever had. Very generous size. It came with a lovely salad and a little serving of some amazing (very fresh) coleslaw. I was glad our daughter doesn't like slaw, because she had a bigger portion that I ate. I kid you not, I'd buy a vat of it if I could!
Our daughter did enjoy her chicken goujons and chips. My husband had the very healthy in size breakfast bap (he said next time he'll order the eggs cooked through as runny eggs made the roll fall apart), but he ate it with a knife and fork and said it was delicious.
We'll definitely be back. We live about 40 mins away and will make this a lunch destination soon.

The food was delicious and the portion size Was also quite good.
Staff was also quite friendly and service was great ?

Ngl the food is amazing ! My dad had the bit of both roast and he doesn?t like Sunday dinners but he loves it ! , I have the pork and it was amazing the potato and sweet mash loved it !

Another fantastic meal at this place - steaks were utterly divine and better than anything you get at Marco Pierre White or the like and a third of the price to boot. Service lovely, cocktails fabulous. Can't wait for the next girls night out here.

Lovely dinner tonight the meat is so fresh and moist. The mixed grill is out of this world a large steak, gammon, pork chop, chicken breast, sausage, egg and chips best be prepared as in very hungry.

OMG this place is fabulous. We had had breakfast a few weeks back which was amazing and saw the Friday evening menu just had the best meal out ever and such lovely people . We will be back for certain.

FRIENDLIEST STAFF EVER! We stopped in on a trip to Tintagel, needing a quick lunch and we were met with the loveliest reception. We sat in the table by the window and watched the world go by. We ordered the breakfast bap, omelette and chips and the children's chicken burger. All plates emptied and it was delicious, best chips I've had in a long time! We were also given great tips in where to go, what to see and where to park which meant we went back to Tintagel twice in 2 days! We hope to see you again soon on our next trip! Would highly recommend to everyone. We also heard the Sunday roast should not be missed!
