Staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. I had the Cornish rarebit and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavour. There's also a lovely little deli and shop inside, which was a great surprise. A fantastic spot all round

Charlie?s in Tintagel is a charming café with great atmosphere and freshly made food that stands out?especially the sandwiches and cream tea. Staff are welcoming, and the setting is cozy, though it can get a bit tight when busy. Still, well worth visiting.

Very over priced compared to many in the area for a cream tea. Very under quality and quantity for that price too. As a regular when it comes to cream teas, I found the scones supplied were the smallest I ever encountered and of an OK taste nothing more as with the cream. Most if not all the places I've had cream teas, and I even refer to those counties outside Devon and Cornwall you always get a pot of tea. But not here you get one cup. The feeling is the extortionate price and smallest portions they can get away with will ensure a fast turn around. Thus boosting profits, as let's be honest how many are locals likely to return. Then you have the issue of hygiene the sugar containers are on the tables outside and contain within sugar cubes both brown and white, along with wasps and flies as no cover also the containers are old rusty Golden Syrup tins. However on a lighter note the staff seemed helpful enough. will definitely not be returning. If I can leave photos in my review I will.

Highly recommend the waffles on their menu. Great texture. Crispy outer layer and soft inner core. We fought over the last piece on the plate. It's good even for take away.
