Came for my Dads 60th birthday with a party of 30, service was great and food delicious. They even made a personalised banner for my Dad. Everyone so friendly and helpful from the booking right through to the day.

We celebrated Mother's Day here, and as usual, the roast was excellent. The complimentary Prosecco for my Mum was a lovely gesture, and the staff were wonderful. However, we were disappointed to find that the menu had changed since our January booking, removing the pizzas. This meant my nephew had nothing to eat, and sadly, my sister's family had to cancel, which was a real shame as it was intended as a joint treat for our Mum.

Unfortunately not a good experience for us Saturday evening 29th March, hardly any meat for Carvery I got literally scrapings of what was left although we did better than people behind us who was told only chicken left and that would be 20 mins or so .. it was busy and a private function going on but surely they should know what bookings they have and have enough meat ready to cater for ? also even though it says on dessert cabinet vegan available there was nothing other than sorbet that was dairy free when I asked very disappointing ????

Beautiful food, we visited on Mother?s Day, I feel the restaurant was over booked cramming lots of tables into a tight space, and only allowing a 2 hour window.

Great evening with a group of 30 for an Annual meal celebration.

The service is poor. Poor communication. Felt victimised when we were told to eat fast as the table was booked for other people in a few minutes. We asked for a birthday banner and it was not put up as promised. Staff were generally unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Came with a group ,one of my friends had a vegetable carvery believing it would come with something ,an alternative to the meat . We pointed this out to the waitress who was almost angry at my friend . Who got the menu to point out . I'm not sure what she was pointing out definitely says carvery . Not vegetables from a carvery! My friend pointed out that if you asked a vegetarian what a carvery would be they would say a nut roast . Waitress said well we don't do it .
Needs to be more clear on the menu!
Everyone was happy with the food. I personally didn't have dessert, very heavy no cheesecake ,pavlova, roulade . I would of thought these would be top sellers
