I visited St Mawes in May of 2022. I experienced an act of kindness here that has forever changed my life. It was a simple act by a young lady working at the bakery that stays with me to this day - and will throughout my life. There is rarely a day in my life that I don?t think of her but I sincerely believe she thought nothing of it and just went about her day. Also, the bread was amazing and we took some home.

Difficult to find anything vegan in St Mawes, luckily this bakery always had vg sausage rolls & sag aloo pasty. Best vegan sausage roll I've ever had. Nice coffee too

Called in on a damp Monday so appreciate they were very busy . Staff obviously under pressure but dealing with orders in a polite manner and it was explained that there may be a short wait to process orders - so not a problem and worth the wait .
Did not need to hear criticism from the kitchen regarding staff members- would imagine this can create an uncomfortable environment - no one is perfect .

The food looked ok but the female chef and waiting staff came across very rude, no smiles with little to no customer service. Decided not to purchase anything and left to explore the other local options.

I always come here when im on holiday and its so lovely. Really good food and drinks. The almond croissant is delicious.
