We had another meal at One Fish Street yesterday. Had the 8 course tasting menu (available @7pm Tuesday to Thursday ). The 2 chefs (Bradley and Isaac) continue to raise their game. They provide Michelin quality cooking and food. Go. This review may look like self promotion. I can prove it isn?t. I have my receipt.

Visited for the first time for our anniversary and we had a wonderful evening. The service was personal, friendly and attentive without being over the top. The food was really tasty and great value, and each dish was top notch, but the desert of chefs own honey, apple, Chantelle cream was off the scale. I also want some of those dishes you served the desert in, so if you want to sell two then let me know ??. Would highly recommend and we will go back. Tell the barmaid she should add the lemon cocktail to the menu and the plum sake with desert was beautiful. Only thing to be aware of is parking is limited so get the in plenty of time.

My culinary bar is set pretty high and as a result I rarely leave reviews as I know what goes into making a decent meal and I don?t think it fair to damn with feint praise because my hopes have been left wanting. That was not case at One Fish Street. You excelled. OK it was a quiet, wet evening in St Ives, reflected in the turnout, but that was entirely irrelevant when presented with the quality and care (pride) of each course served with the most affable and honest service I can recall. I?m struggling to pick one course over another on the tasting menu, but failing. All were exceptional. Perhaps, probably, one of the best meals this year with no caveat or Michelin references needed. Wish you were nearer home. Well done.

This is my fourth visit in three years, and I am a fan of this restaurant. I view it as a real once-a-year treat. This fourth visit was as good as the previous three, and we had a great time- quiet ambience, delightful waitress, and the food was as delicious and beautifully presented as expected (hoped for). Basically although I'm a good home cook, I wouldn't be able to produce what is provided here, and that's what I want when I go somewhere high end like this. Add in the cocktails (fir sour and cucumber martini) and all of our group were seriously happy.

Booked this restaurant on recommendation. We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely brilliant. Every dish had subtle flavours without being overpowering. The waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming. We didn't have the wine pairings but could hear her describing each one to those on tables near us, she was very knowledgeable. I cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant it was probably the best meal I've ever had.

Fabulous find amazing food and lovely ambience- the waitresses couldn?t do enough to ensure we had the best time thank you Ladies ! Great menu and choice- we will be back.

We were on holiday and were looking for somewhere special for the Saturday night. We enjoyed what we had and the beef sirloin was outstanding with excellent flavour and cooked to perfection. However the Grill House menu on that Saturday night did feel a little limited with more prominence given to the Tasting Menu which I couldn't have because of a seafood allergy. I had told them in advance no seafood but even the chips served with the sirloin were cooked in the same oil as their oysters so I couldn't have them and they couldn't offer an alternative. This is clearly an ambitious chef who shows a lot of flair and technique but I think he needs to broaden his menu a bit. Service was friendly but slow.

Overly impressed with One Fish Street ... their grill night menu maybe limited but what they offer is first class ingredients, cooked to absolute perfection, and served with friendly smiles. Creative twists with flavours ... whilst still showcasing the super fresh seafood... we mix and matched starters and mains (we don't eat meat and wanted to sample as much as we could). We had hake with pimento alioli, crab arranccini, chilli buffalo mozzarella, and star of the show ... ray wing with masala sauce and yoghurt. First time eating Ray wing, and the waitress kindly showed me how to remove from the bone. Well done Chef for creativity and keeping your ingredients true and fresh.

Disappointing experience, We were really looking foward to a meal here so its a shame wexdidn t enjoy it. We went on Saturday evening, found the service slow, 30 minutes before we even got a drink ! Food was good but not outstanding and very expensive. We have eaten in many restaurants including fine dining but would not recommend this one. There are many better places to eat in St Ives.

We booked for the tasting menu. Eight courses of phenomenal food. All delicious and presented beautifully. The two hostess?s were delightful. I highly recommend and we will definitely return. Thank you.

Fantastic tasting menu with lots of great flavours! Loved the Japanese fusion and all of the food was beautifully prepared and served. The staff are really nice and knowledgeable. All in all we had a great 2 1/2 hour experience.

We loved this little place tucked away off the main street. We went for cocktails and sharing plates and sat at the small bar area. The girls who served us were so lovely and the cocktails were my fave in St Ives.

Worst experience with a restaurant EVER. Customer Service absolute horrible, I can't decide who is ruder staff or management? £160 charge for nothing!!! Beware don't go there. They have a phone number listen but its not actually connected to the restaurant. Was told should have cancelled via email, but everyone in St Ives knows the service all over is horrible.
