Stayed at Polmanter Touring park for 2 weeks in August 2023. Absolutely loved this place, the site is fantastic with great amenities. We have a dog so wasn't allowed to eat in the main bar area but was able to eat in the conservatory or outside area, which was fine by us. The food was good value and for us, always tasted nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Lauren (I'm hoping I remember correctly). The toilet/shower blocks were always spotless even in the height of summer, and the site grounds were kept clean and tidy too. We loved the location, being so close to St Ives, we could walk into the town, though the walk back could be a little more challenging as it's uphill. We did use the dedicated bus service into St Ives also, but this did get very busy and a little cramped on our return journey, so used a taxi company. St Ives itself is beautiful, the beach, cafés, restaurants and shops etc are aplenty, visited several times. Overall, had a fantastic stay and hope to be back there soon.

Took a 2wk caravan holiday here, fantastic! Brilliant facilities and great staff who are very friendly and helpful. Lovely bar/restaurant with outdoor swimming pool just outside. Free bus service into St Ives which saves the hassle of getting to find a parking space! Highly recommended.

Beautiful campsite with stunning views and lovely facilities. We hire a beautiful bell tent for the week, which was ready for our arrival, from Ysella!

I?ll be honest, I wasn?t expecting very much from the site. It was everything we try to avoid. Has a swimming pool, family oriented and pretty big, but it was perfect. Clean, groomed and excellent service. I?m not sure if I?d liked it in pan season rammed with kids, but out of season it was actually perfect for us. And St Ives!! Just turned 60 and it was my first visit. Very happy with the whole experience.

Excellent campsite, they really have thought of everything. The location is so peaceful and yet you are very close to bustling St Ives. Was a shame we missed out on the pool by a day, as that looked wonderful. The pub was also closed during our stay, so we visited the Halsetown Inn which was excellent, it?s only a few minutes walk, well worth a visit. Would love to return to make full use of the facilities next time we?re in the South West.

Best site we?ve stayed at to-date. All the facilities were 5* and everywhere was absolutely immaculate. Swimming pool and area surrounding it was really lovely and pristine. The Stable Bar and the food there, again, was top notch. The menu may look on the expensive side but this place serves restaurant quality food with service to match. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch. Our Grandson also appreciated the adventure play-park and soft play area. Again both immaculate. The bus down into town was a huge bonus. Again may sound on the expensive side but when you counter in, the fact that, parking in St Ives is £10 for 4+ hrs and trying to find a car park space is an absolute nightmare, the bus is far more convenient.Unfortunately the weather wasn?t the best whilst there and, in hindsight, we wish now we?d booked a hard standing pitch. However, the site, the facilities and friendliness of all the staff made up for the inclement weather.Thank you all for a wonderful stay - keep up the excellent work, we will definitely be back ?

we liked Polmanter so much we have booked a week for next year, the whole site was lovely and clean and very well kept with lots of planting, the toilet and shower blocks were up to date and clean, its a leisurely 1 1/2 miles to St Ives all down hill to the fabulous beaches, town and harbour and we caught the bus back right to Polmanter for £2.20 each single fare, you can?t use your bus pass. The swimming pool was great with lots of sun beds around and the food was great and not over priced, its dog friendly, we had a lovely time and can?t wait for next year.

Really lovely holiday park. Stayed 3 nights in our Motorhome and loved it. Facilities were really good, shop was handy for essentials and the onsite restaurant served excellent food. The bus service to St Ives and back was fantastic as the walk was up and down very steep hills. There was a pathway down to St I re which was a lovely walk. Can?t recommend this site enough!!

Fabulous site with immaculate amenities. Pitches were huge on the multi-serviced hardstanding. The warm welcome at reception at checkin was really lovely. The arrivals field is a great idea and our dog LOVED the exercise field with agility! Thank you Polmanter

Everything about the camp is great. Fabulous facilities and great location. Particularly loved the outdoor swimming pool given that the weather was so hot. The camp is most definitely a 5* campsite and we will definitely be going back in the future.

We have been on a 16 night tour of Cornwall and Devon. We stayed at Polmanter for 2 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Great reception team who were really polite and professional. We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch for our Motorhome and it was great, and had a fabulous sea view. We quickly realised this site oozed quality, toilet / shower blocks were really good, we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was great, the ?specials? were yummy. There is an outside pool which we managed to make use of and was really impressed with that. If you love St.Ives and want a campsite to stay at I would highly recommend it, it?s about a 30 mins downhill walk to the town and you can get a bus back that drops you at the park entrance, perfect !
