My Mum and I took a day trip to St Ives and decided to take the boat trip after being sold it by one of the sales people gathered around the harbour. Both he and the gentleman who checked us in/out and gave us our life jackets were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. We didn?t realise that ?high speed boat trip? is what it says on the tin - a fast whizz through the sea, but slowing down to a sedate bob to view the beautiful seals on their island. The tour guide/boat driver was brilliant and had outstanding local knowledge. Would 100% recommend for an exhilarating 45 minutes!

Fantastic experience. Boats went at high speed bumping in the waves with hardly any water spiking on us. Took us to the light house where we could see seals and some exotic rare birds. The journey back was at an even higher speed with all different stunts. I generally get sea sick but this was absolutely fine could be coz it was a short ride then stop and then another short ride with a total time of about 45 mins.

We went on a Blue Thunder trip a couple of days ago and absolutely loved it.My 6 y/o daughter was laughing her head off the whole time. Saw some seals swimming around Godrevy Lighthouse which made it feel even more special. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back next year to go again!

Went on a day trip to St Ives, booked this trip online in the morning for the afternoon and spent the day looking forward to it. We went to the meeting point but nobody turned up, rang the number and left a voicemail with no response. I have emailed Tom and still yet have had no response regarding what happened and to see if we can have a refund.

So after my first amazing encounter with these guy's I decided to take another trip with Blue Thunder which was every bit as thrilling as my previous experience. These guy's worked to ensure a slick experience from start to finish with a friendly and caring approach. We powered across the ocean to see seals laying on the rocks and swimming in the water accompanied by an informative commentary, followed by a fast and furious return journey across the waves as the boat veered from side to side. Another enjoyable trip, well delivered all round, fun and good value for money.

Although no dolphins or seals :( the trip itself is really thrilling. The guys so friendly and informative. Well worth the money, especially on a clear sunny day. I'm usually reluctant to go on boat trips but I'm glad I did today. My 6 year old son loved it, as did my 60 year old father in law! Thanks guys x St Ives itself is a dream

This was our second trip out with Tom on his boat Blue Thunder. It's by far the most fun you can have in St Ives. Exhilarating, like your flying over the water. The trip included a full throttle visit to the light house with seal watching included. Much care and consideration not to disturb the beautiful seals. Tom was full of knowledge of the area being a true local. Book with these guys, support a real St Ives company you won't regret it.

Took my two grandchildren and they were absolutely stoked, best Skipper Matt and Tom couldn't be more helpful. Got to see dolphins up close and the ride was exhilarating, would highly recommend.
