Really enjoyed it here. Nice bar waiting area (the Offshore Pilsner really hit the spot). Service a little hit and miss but just need to keep this in mind and chase where needed, really good food, fantastic overall value. The decor is pure 1970s, although it's spotlessly clean. Best fish and chip shop around. We're on holiday and been here twice. First we had haddock and chips which was absolutely delicious and big portions. Tonight we had scampi, oh my days, best scampi we've ever tasted. The service was excellent. Cannot fault this place. Would definitely recommend.
Beck's Fish and Chips in St Ives, Cornwall, is as an established Cornish family business. We like to think our warm, friendly and relaxed attitude reflects our family's character and aims of providing a good, quality, traditional British meal for our customers. When visiting Beck's Fish and Chip shop, we have a very large car park at the rear of our premises for all our customers.
Once parked, a few things we think you should know before you order; All hot food is cooked fresh on ordering, so please be patient, it's worth the wait. All our batter and pizza bases are available gluten free every day and are cooked separately in different fryers.
