Always stop overnight here on our way down through Cornwall. Staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms are clean and sufficient, beds are comfortable. Good pub next door.

Me and my partner have stayed here two years in a row, last year it was lovely, clean and just overall lovely but this year?. Our room stank of damp, there was mould in the corners of the room and ceiling. The bathroom really stunk of mould and damp and you could see where the mould had been covered up with paint, the cabinets and bath panel was pealing away and chipped. The toilet didn?t work unless you flushed multiple times, the water pressure is rubbish especially when others are using the water. Completely let down this year by this hotel stay. It?s a shame because last year it was lovely and clean and worth the money that was spent but this year I wouldn?t even say it was worth 368 pounds? really needs a revamp! The amount of sand in the corners of the bathroom and shower as well and our bathroom fan didn?t work and they covered the button up with tape, because the bathroom smelt of damp the whole room smelt of it too! The bed even felt damp and as soon as you opened the door to the room you got the smell of mould and damp, ignore room 16 for sure! Please do better and work on things that need to be worked on!

What can I say, stayed here for 3 nights and the first night the fire alarm kept going off in the night and we had to wait outside for the fire brigade had the come out to reset the alarm, I had my £100 speaker stolen from me room when I was out for the day and oh my God the floor boreds, it sounded like who ever was above me was going to fall through the ceiling, the bathroom had not been cleaned as the drain still had hair and the bath tub had only what I can imagine was poo smeared everywhere. Iv stayed in a lot of hotel a this one was by far the worst

Ignore the sat nav, its behind the Victoria pub.
The hotel is excellent.

Room look very tired and the place need refit one thing I noticed was the bathroom was very smelly. I had 2 rooms same in other bathroom. Woke up to the smell of cigarette smell a chef was smoking outside sitting down under a no smoking sign

Paid for breakfast and just got a breakfast box... rubbish.
Room cold, heater smelly. Near dual carriageway, noisy. Good job it's only 1 night.

Nothing much nearby so a decent place to stop just to sleep. My room was opposite the fire door that slammed all night. Room looked like it should have had a table but didn?t. No free WiFi. Pub next door is pricey?
