We popped in for breakfast on the off chance. They open from 9.30am serving full English, salmon and avocado on toast or butties. Beautiful quality ingredients, all very well presented and additional options for the eggs of poached and scrambled was a nice touch, than the usual fried making it good value for money with a view to die for of the busy little harbour. Staff were friendly. Nice clean bathroom upstairs. Menu looked great, if we're back in the summer we would recommend popping in again.

We are five guys walkimg the South Coast footpath and we ate here on Friday lunchtime, impromptu.The food is AMAZING.The service was BRILLIANT.The location is UNBEATABLE.They only opened thia week so if you haven't been, then please support these guys because they have something different that is very much customer focused.Well done Wheelhouse team. Hope you have a great year ?

Stopped to get out of the rain and decided to have lunch. The staff were very friendly. They were also patient with our dog who is still in training in public places. The food was great value and absolutely delicious.

Comfortable and clean room. Hotel directly on the quay. Good bathroom. Stairs a bit sporty. I do not recommend coming to the quay by car. The owner has private parking, a few minutes into the town. Too bad it?s not closer, but you can?t have everything! It's already cool.

Lovely small double room with fantastic views across the harbour. The bathroom is small but nice. Check in was good and friendly. No breakfast but this was clearly communicated. We really enjoyed our stay :)

Went today with my wife and son who's Diabetic and Coeliac, staff were fantastic helping me to carb count my son's meal which was very much appreciated. Son enjoyed his meal especially the spicy dip with his chicken wings. Thank you once again, we'll be back.

Its all about location, view & value. Right on the harbour my room had the most amazing view which I enjoyed it for hours. There is free guest parking a 10 minute walk away & drop off area & disabled parking in front for those who need it. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming & constantly check to make sure you are having a good stay - which for the price during high season - I thoroughly did. Chris the owner/manager is a good guy & on hand to discuss concerns. The biggest for me was that breakfast is no longer served at The Wheelhouse, I?d booked a B&B and was surprised to learn this was no longer the case - there are some great places close by but they don?t start serving until 9 or 9.30 - just be aware. Chris explained that there is an issue with the website developer hence the website not being updated to reflect the change. The ?compact? bathroom as noted on the site for one of the double rooms is just that, fine for a solo traveller as I didn?t need to close the door to go to the loo, book the larger room if you want a bit more privacy! I loved staying at The Wheelhouse & will return without hesitation if I go back to Mevagissey, as it offers an outstanding location, great value & brilliant staff.

Came here in 2022 as they cooked the most amazing breakfasts, however this week we were really disappointed that they don't offer breakfasts anymore. Can recommend the calamari though!

Lovely bar/restaurant. Came here for a few pints of ale. Staff were very friendly and chatty. The outside view was great, across the harbour and most importantly, the beer tasted wonderful! Definitely coming back.Also a ramp to the outside seated area so wheelchairs accessible.

Amazing tapas style food at a very reasonable price! Lots of variety including delicious seafood.Would recommend everything especially the pork belly and mussels!

This is a review of the restaurant only. My wife and I both had fish dishes. The fish was not fresh, tasteless, and incredibly small size. The accompanying salad was a very long way past its best. The potatoes were rubbery and had not been freshly cooked. It was an unpleasant eating experience. The staff gave competent service but it's hard to say anything else positive.
