Middle of Mevaggisey one row back from the beautiful harbour...we had lunch food was lovely particularly the fish pie...we didn't stay in the rooms but can imagine it would be FAB if the pub is anything to go byLovely women working the bar and restaurant...

Traditional pub in the heart of Mevagissey. Good old-school food and puddings. Definitely worth a visit when in Mevagissey.

Rooms: Bit small, but it is an old building. Shower room door had no closing mechanism... just a hole where the lock should be. Actual shower was very poor water flow.Walkability: Middle of town, everything accessible.Noteworthy details: On the main (very narrow) road; 06:00 rubbish collection and deliveries to Inn and other businesses woke us and kept us awake.

Delicious food, excellent service, dog friendly, lots of Gluten Free Options. Situated in a beautiful harbor town. You won?t be disappointed.

The Ship Inn is always our usual go to. We love the atmosphere, owners are lovely and down to earth. All of the staff are friendly. It?s a real Gem and a proper traditional pub. Our 3 labradors and toddler are always welcomed with open arms. We love the food here, the Ploughman?s is delicious! (The beers not bad too!) We like to sit here and relax of an evening out of high season.

Food, drink and lovely cozy atmosphere never had a bad thing to say about this pub. The only negative is I had to leave. A long wait before we can venture back to Cornwall for another break. This is our first stop when arrive in mevagissey which has been many times now. We normally end up here every evening after long days out too.

Quaint Cornish pub that has lots of character. Lunch was really good, food & service excellent. Steady stream of people using the inn during the evening. Prices are higher than other establishments in the area.

In the area for Christmas and popped in a couple of times onc being Christmas Eve. What a great local pub full of tradition and mix of locals and visitors. The bar staff and landlady are excellent and very welcoming. Full range of beers and wines at sensible money and the food is superb!

You know you're in a proper pub when you can try the ale before you buy a full pint. Friendly place with a lovely local atmosphere.Nearby activities: A wonderful part of the world, full of rugged coastline walks and wildlifeWalkability: Plenty of places to walk and explore and the paths are well maintained and good for intermediate hikers and beyond.
