The Shipwreck Treasure Museum is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Charlestown and houses Europe’s largest collection of shipwreck finds with over 8,000 artefacts on display. Curated over 40 years, the unusual and interesting collection includes riches dating from ancient Egypt and Roman periods and is home to the world’s only intact barrel of coins ever salvaged from the seabed.
