Adopted a pet rat asked if they covered him for two weeks told yes and now saying I have to pay for vet after less than 12 hours and cheddar has the same respiratory condition he was seperated from his pack for. Disgusting. St austell

Bought my sons a hamster from here a month ago 2 weeks after purchasing he didn't seem himself took him to the vets and was told he has kidney stones and is in very poor health. This wouldn't have happened over night we were told and he would've been very poorly when we bought him. We were billed £120 for this poor little hamster which should never have been sold to us in the first place. Went through customer services through email we were asked to send the vets bill and proof of purchase or screenshot of the transaction from our bank statement. We sent all relevant information and we were then told they will be paying back our vets bill as we were covered so many days after purchase. Now the information we provided isnt good enough and they need more proof. As I work in a shop I know full well that as we've provided the relevant information they will be able to find our receipt on their computers. Very poor service and pets at home should never have animals in their care let alone be selling them. Absolutely disgusting!

I usually buy frozen mice for my snake ? Large mice 75 mmm long 5 in a pack usually about £6 ISH surely with inflation wouldn't double in price to £12 for 5 frozen mice? There isn't much competition in st Austell so I suppose I will have to put up with the increase
