If I could give the service 0 I would have. Every costa i have been to have provided excellent service even this store did yesterday. However the assistant managers attitude was disgusting, she was so rude and wouldn?t agree to half a shot of coffee which is done in every store. I feel so strongly to say that women should not be in a managerial role speaking to customers like this, as surely her staff are being spoken to with even less respect. We decided to take our business to Starbucks instead. What a horrible member of staff. This review is to do with the drive thru costa.

At Victoria Services Cornwall, young female server made us feel that we were interrupting her job as she took our order. Didn?t speak to us at all apart to ask for the amount owed. Didn?t confirm the card had gone through. We paid for an extra coffee because as we thought she?d not heard us first time so repeated the order so got two of the same product. Complete lack of pleasant customer service.

Visited in store recently for coffee and asked the lady at the till if all of the cakes apply for the free birthday slice from the app (it was my birthday, obviously) and she just simply said yes. They always seem quite grumpy at the shop inside the services which is a shame. I've worked in customer service and hospitality for years but even without this, surely it's just kind human nature to say happy birthday when someone goes into store and clearly scans the birthday cake reward?! Thought that was really bizarre. That said, I only popped in here because the drive thru was shut for a few days. I visit there weekly on the way to work and everyone there, everytime I go is always so lovely, friendly and chatty. They must recognise regulars and we have a bit of a natter whilst I'm paying - the drive thru is a credit to Costa!

They don't stock half the things they sell on the menu nor advertise AT the drive-thru. And no one bothers to put stickers over the things they don't have. So annoying that it happens every time and now at the ~15th time I've become so sick of it that I'm writing this! So if you want something specific to eat, including seasonal things, you probably won't get it here.

Nice coffee....wasn't impressed with lad serving though. Over filled cups so couldn't add much milk. Then put lids on two cups that were overflowing. Returned to ask if he could empty some out of one and add extra milk. He did but in a way that made me feel uncomfortable...he couldn't care less.Vegetarian options: Ok.
