We went for an amazing meal here this evening the service was sharp and both my husband and my own meals were delicious. The atmosphere in and around the pub has a lovely vibe. The staff were very welcoming friendly and efficient. It was just lovely. Thank you

Went here for dinner with my partner and brother. Lovely old pub, good drinks selection and good service, but the food was very hit or miss - some of the dishes were pretty good but the squid starter and the risotto were both so salty they were nearly inedible. Nice spot for a drink, but there are much better places to eat in St Agnes.

It?s a grand location next to the sea in St Agnes. An afternoon of sipping cold drinks in the garden all good too.
The food however is in my opinion average pub food.

We stopped here during a stage of the South West coast path and sat in the umbrella section on the opposite side of the road from the main building. Enjoyed a nice cool glass of Rattler and excellent (large and filling) portion of cheesy chips. A great place to stop by!

Really nice cosy pub, with excellent food and friendly and attentive staff. Worth booking ahead as it seems very popular. Also convenient pub car park nearby (you get a voucher from the pub on the way out so it?s free).

Lovely, cosy pub. Visited twice during our honeymoon in Cornwall. Great atmosphere in the pub area with all the bottles on display, local history information boards, fairy lights and fireplace. Delicious food too.

Lovely character pub ... Always pop in here when walking from Perranporth and back along the South West coastal path.

We didn't eat or even drink in the main building but we had a drink at the 'Crib Shack' across the road. Good looking menu but too early for us to eat. My husband enjoyed his trio of ales brewed across the road.

The team at The Driftwood Spars is absolutely excellent! My husband and I had a small issue with our bedroom, but a member of staff stepped in straight away and did their best to help ? really impressive service. The location is unforgettable, with such a unique charm, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We also had the chance to try their restaurant and? WOW! The food was out of this world. A fantastic experience all round ? highly recommended!

Had a few local ales, with the best onion rings ever, after a lovely walk and returned for evening meal a few nights later 10/10

Good service and great location. I can only speak for what food my mum and I got ? the hummus, olive and focaccia board, vegetables and roast potatoes ? but it was inedible. The ?focaccia? was just day-old normal bread. The olive oil provided for the bread was really low quality ? white land tasteless like cooking oil. The hummus looked really dry and a weird colour so I didn?t dare eat it. The vegetables were just steamed (apparently for way too long) and mashed into a bowl served cold. The roast potatoes were ok but definitely not made on the same day. The yorkshire pudding was spongy and egg-y ? not pleasant at all to eat.
If you value good food and ingredients don?t come here. Having said that, if you just want a quick place to stop for a bit of sustenance by the beach and you don?t care at all about how good your food is than this place is ok.
