my favourite bar in cornwall. located just on the gorgeous beach of trevaunance in st agnes, it?s got amazing views of the whole bay and sea skyline, making it a great place to enjoy a tasty pint , pizza, and sunset. the pizza is delicious and home made in their own wood fired pizza oven, great buddy stmospher with locals and tourists. amazing views from the top floor and the wraparound balcony

Great little spot to watch the surf as it overlooked the beach. We went on a rainy day to explore the area. Parked the car in the nearby carpark (£1 for an hour - i imagine it would be full very quickly on a sunny day). Family had beer but I was designated driver so me and my son had a schooners hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream! It was deeeelish. Plenty of tables upstairs and the pizzas that were coming out to the other tables looked amazing!

Insane beers, insane pizzas(probably the best I've ever had, one of those pizzas where even a bit of the crust wasn't left alone), insane location and views, warm and welcoming service, beautiful sunset, music and atmosphere were just vibes.
Can't ask for better..would deffo come here again if I were to visit Cornwall again. Had to order a crate of their beers as soon as I reached home.

Such tasty pizza with perfect toppings, couldn?t get enough! Great selection of Verdant beers and the staff were super friendly. Laid-back, beachy vibe and the view is amazing. Oh and a yummy brownie for dessert. Will definitely be back!

Schooners Bar - Where Pizzas Are Holy, Brownies Are Dangerous, and Even the Dogs Leave Happy
Right, so let me just say it straight: if you walk past Schooners Bar and don?t go in, you?re making a grave mistake. Like, ?forgetting your dog at the beach? level of mistake. This place is an absolute treat from start to finish.
First up, the pizzas. Oh lord. Divine. We?re talking crispy, chewy, perfectly-topped masterpieces that make you question whether you?ve ever really ?had? pizza before. Then you throw in the garlic bread, which was so good I briefly considered proposing to it.
The real ales? Spot on. Whoever?s looking after the beer here deserves a medal. Perfectly poured, properly kept, and just the thing to wash down your weight in carbs and cheese.
And then? the desserts. The biscoff brownies. Honestly, these things should come with a support group. Next-level gooey, rich, and indecently delicious. I nearly ordered a second but decided to leave some dignity on the table.
The vibe is brilliant, relaxed, welcoming, with that ?we actually care if you?re having good food and a good time? energy that you don?t find everywhere.
Oh and the dogs? Thrilled. They got fuss, space to chill, and I?m fairly sure mine is now writing a Google review of her own.
So yeah, if you want divine pizzas, real ale done right, and brownies that might ruin you for all other desserts, Schooners Bar is the place. Just don?t wear tight trousers.

Came for the beer, stayed for the pizza. Hard to think of a better location for an independent craft bar than this, stunning views overlooking Trevaunance cove whilst you enjoy a variety of beers from Verdant in both keg and can. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, proper tasty taproom-style with a light base and crispy crust. Margherita is nicely balanced in flavours, whilst we also had a Peschi, which is full of seaside taste: Fishy and salty. Have been before, will be back again!
