We visited twice ? once just for drinks and another time for food. On our first visit there were plenty of tables available, and on the second it was much busier, but we still managed to find a seat. Ordering at the bar was straightforward and service was quick and efficient.
The pub has some handy plug sockets (great for charging my phone), a children?s play area outside, and it?s dog friendly. There?s also free WiFi, clean toilets, and a large free car park which makes it very convenient.
Food was on the pricier side for me, but the quality more than justified the cost ? everything we had was well-prepared and tasty.
Overall, a welcoming pub with good facilities and great food.

We visited here after a morning at Land's End and was expecting it to he extremely busy, overpriced and mediocre food with it being so close to a tourist area. However, we couldn't have been more wrong! We had Sunday lunch and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and friendly. And although it was fairly busy, we didn't wait for a table and the food arrived fairly quickly too. Would highly recommend visiting and we will gladly visit again next time we are in the area.

The food selection is poor, staff are alright. Round of drinks cost a small fortune unlike pubs around.

Great place to dine, good food albeit limited, tad expensive but good sized meals, good selection of beers, decent outside seating area, with a kids play area, steeped in history with a ghost and a smugglers tunnel.

Did not like the foul language from the chef and the fact staff thought was funny to wind him up however food and drink however over priced was OK

Fantastic, tasty food, clean bathrooms. Other than the lady that didn't like us asking to clear the table a bit mid-lunch, nothing to complain about. One of the best meals we had on our Cornish escapade.

We were staying at Stablerooms which is beside First and Last inn. We had meals with them two nights, nice cosy pub restaurant. We had chilly beef tacos and dirty fries, eton mess and first and last inn lager. Lovely food , especially eton mess. And you can get 10% discount if staying at stable room.

Tried to reserve a table and was shouted at for no reason by the woman on the phone. Disguisting service!!

5 stars as far as pub restaurants go, the food was very good and high quality pub fair, very generous portions and tasty.
Lots of nice drinks choices (in my opinion) and very attentive and hard working staff.
The atmosphere was good also, the building is in great condition and lots of space and cleanliness and welcoming with plenty off road parking.
Worth a visit for a nice simple pub meal and good drink after a hot summer day at Lands End.

A great, simple meal. Friendly staff, fast service..great fish.
We were there early evening..a little quiet but may be more atmospheric with a full restaurant.
