This has been our 5th year coming to Cornwall and it's been our 3rd year staying at The Weary Friar, me and my fiance have loved staying at this accommodation, lovely pub, lovely area, the owners and staff are so lovely and welcoming! We enjoyed every minute of it. It was so nice to see familiar faces from the past years we have stayed and also coming in for dinner the previous years.

Very quaint 12th century inn with hand pulled beers and traditional features - staff were friendly and prices reasonable . We thought it was great.

Wonderful staff, picturesque drive through the English countryside, spacious rooms, lovely pint and a beautiful breakfast to start the day.
I recommend staying here for the atmosphere and reasonably priced rooms.

Very friendly staff. There was nothing deluxe about our room. It was clean and tidy but way too warm at night. Breakfast was dull and the coffee weak.
It was overpriced.

The Sunday roast we had today was the worst we have ever had. Tough beef, 1 carrot, a teaspoon of red cabbage,4 stringy french beans, 5 potatoes and a cold yorkshire pudding. It was very over priced and tasteless. The couple next to us complained so we weren't the only ones who thought this.

Food was lovely and hot. Very accommodating for a group of 10 people with 13 beagles!
Was going to sit outside but sat inside in the end.
Beautiful place. We will be back if you will have us!

A proper old fashioned pub in the countryside East Cornwall. A lunchtime visit together with 13pthers. Pre ordered food great and served together as requested. Pint of non alcohol cider so cannot comment on ale quality. Friendly staff and clean area for eating/ drinking. Well recommended.
