Have eaten here a couple of times recently. Good quality pub food , fresh and well cooked. My friends had steak which were cooked to perfection and very good. Staff are friendly, would thoroughly recommend.

First time visitor, and won?t be the last
Popped in for dinner to check the place out for its pub quiz.
Staff are genuinely old style super friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome
The food is good ole, old school pub grub without the stupid prices being charged elsewhere. It even has a pie warmer for pasties, sausage rolls etc!
Our food was amazing, served piping hot and delicious. The portions sizes are super generous, my wife?s ciabatta was packed full of ham and cheese.
The mash with my pie was obviously home made and delicious (as was the pie)
Food and drinks prices are what I call ?local prices? and not over inflated for the holidaymaker market.
Oh and the pub quiz (every other Monday) was extremely well run, fun, entertaining and there wasn?t a?Google? in sight

Only thing tasty was the beef frozen turnip. Frozen carrots. Mushed up parsnip.frozen Roasties. Cabbage chopped so fine was very dry. Gravy warmed water . No taste at all

Great time here, we ordered stake chips and peas, it came with onion rings, tomato and mushrooms, cooked perfectly. It was outstanding ?. Very much enjoyed by the family and friendly/polite staff too, plus the children's play area was a great bonus!
Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming towards family's and a good play area out in the back garden for the children to play.

Pricey Pints and lacking in atmosphere. Used to be a go to for food but presently home to kids shouting and half pissed parents.

Visited this pub on our first visit to the area and was extremely impressed. The food looked as good as it tasted,the steak peas chips and onions rings mushrooms and tomato were cooked perfectly to my choice and thoroughly enjoyable! Will be popping back in the next few days

Classic country pub, good for everyone including families. Tasty, generous food at a good price. Would highly recommend stopping here for a feed.
