A fabulous experience at The Old Forge this evening; everything was so delicious. Great kids and vegan menu and my crab linguine was fantastic. Puddings were gorgeous too. Wonderful, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Food was absolutely spectacular we went twice while on holiday, even for someone who is Coeliac and Dairy Free my partner was able to eat and be accommodated for. Only downside was the speed of table service, both times we felt it was very slow. Ordering breakfast for 4, 2 adults, 2 young children. Ordering to receiving the food was close to 30 minutes, we had to order more drinks because we had all finished by the time food came out and unfortunately those drinks came once we were finished as well. Pretty place and staff were fine, even checking with chefs about certain aspects to make sure my partner was completely safe. Cost wise was a little on the expensive side.

Very clued up on Allergens and Dietary requirements, particularly Gluten which is great for Coeliacs. Plenty of Gluten Free options and adaptations in food and drink. Food very tasty and well presented, and service was attentive and friendly. The venue is small and thoughtfully presented for an informal and relaxed environment. Will come back and do recommend.

Spacious restaurant with a lot of options that are very comfort food-esque. So much so, it took me a while to choose a main! Had the carbonara, which was nice, though I would have liked more parmesan served at the table. I also loved that they offered less usual soft drinks, the ginger beer was very nice.
A few vegan options too, my partner had the truffle funghi pizza, which was well enjoyed.

Nice place and the chefs make nice fresh food . The negative is they put a 12.5% surcharge on every single bill even if you?ve been just for a breakfast for one.
Yes they say service is discretionary but they do it on purpose so it?s awkward to say remove it. They bring a plate 5 metres from the kitchen, don?t check if your meals ok, didn?t ask if we all wanted more drinks and only a couple of the younger staff are service led. The older staff are quiet rude

Went here after recommendations from others, for a date night with the missus. Food did not disappoint, service was personal and brilliant. Be back again as I heard the roast is decent!

Lovely food but we felt a bit rushed. We were in and out in 40 mins, food bought to us 5 mins after ordering and was a bit cold.
