A HUGE thank you to Dave and the team for fitting us in today. After speaking to the main dealerships and local garages nobody was willing to see us until the middle of Sept (3 weeks!) Within 20 minutes the diagnostic had to be run and 10 mins later a new battery delivered and installed meaning our holiday isn?t ruined! As we were about to leave my sister oil light flashed on her camper van, Dave dropped what he was doing and checked straight away! My mechanic hero! After a wonderful 10 days in Cornwall we started our journey back home. Within 20 minutes we had 2 issues with our trailer. For 4.5 hours we drove around looking for parts and then arrived at Darcroft Garage after it had already closed. David was so kind and helpful, maybe sensing the tough day we have had. After a warning message on our Ford and local Ford dealers unwilling to even look at the car, this fab independent garage had a look, worked their magic and got us back on the road. A family of 5 are forever grateful that we could go on holidays and didn't end up stranded.

Highly recommended: Immediate and enlightened technical help.Europcar had given me a Peugeot Passenger van 8 litres low on AdBlue with engine faults and alert lights warning the van wouldn't start in 600miles on day 1 and 300miles on day 4 before a drive to London.David immediately understood and explained succinctly in seconds the problems prone to Peugeot diesel vehicles - (and why Europcar and all the 3rd party assistant agents took hours of phone time not to be able to help).Furthermore, he ran the pre engine diagnostics, sourced solutions, ran and printed the post engine diagnostics which showed immediate solutions, and explained the actions i needed to take to avoid serious engine failure, in no time at all - which got me back to the Eurocar van hire in London - with less of a nightmare than they'd given me.

Absolutely amazing service, my boyfriend and I had an issue with his cars engine and we were due to drive over 200 miles the next morning. Everywhere else told us it wasn?t possible to get it fixed in time to go home and Dartcroft garage were more than happy to help even though it was 5 minutes before they closed. They were able to fix our problem and worked past closing time to get it sorted. Such lovely people and the best customer service we have ever received, thank you again! I cannot recommend them more!

In Cornwall for 2 weeks holiday when our exhaust began rattling very loudly on our Micra. Popped in Nissan dealership near Fowey who wouldn't even look at it to tell us if it was dangerous let alone repair it for us! After several days it got much worse and sounded like a motor boat as we drove and was very loose. We were due to drive 300 miles home tomorrow night so on recommendation went to Darcroft who couldn't have been more helpful. Within an hour it had been looked at, welded and we were back on the road. Cannot praise them highly enough or thank them enough.
