Took a Dacia 2013 out on finance. 2 weeks in the horn stops working and the wheel came off!!!! RAC said we are lucky to be here. The reply from Craig at Tony Oates? 'cars are dangerous', 'its an old car', 'it is what it is'Great salesman who is terrible at actually caring about his customers' welfare.

I have recently moved to the area and not being a spring chicken and dependent on my car I was anxious to find a garage nearby who I could trust and could act promptly if necessary. Before I had time to investigate I got a puncture and went to Tony Oates garage. They could not have been more helpful and polite. They explained immediately that I needed a new tyre and gave me a reasonable price. It was fitted within the hour, all the pressures checked without being requested and my fault indicator light sorted. That sort of service is very rare these days and has given me absolute peace of mind which is worth a great deal. Thank you Tony Oates!

Will not be using them again.Bought a volvo c30 from them, and from the get go I had issuesFumes in the cabHesitation from the engineABS warning light kept coming onIt went back to them every week for six months to get fixed on warranty! They put a new (budget unbranded) EGR valve and cooler in but that still didn't solve the issue. Only actually got fixed when they took it to volve who told them they had to put a genuine EGR valve in and surprise supirse it was fixed.I also paid them £200 to spray the alloys Black, which they did, but 7 months later the paint on the inside of the rim is cracked, bubbling and peeling off. After calling them I arranged to take the wheels back so it could be sorted but Craig pretty much refused to sort it, telling me I'm being TOO fussy and giving me every excuse under the sun as to why its more work that its worth to sort them out. Oh and I apparently should I specified that I wanted the WHOLE alloy painted properly not just the front. I thought to any reasonably person if I say i want the alloys painted, that means the whole thing.All they care about is getting your money and then doing any work that doesn't earn them any money on the cheap. Don't fall for the fake persona they give you about being an upstanding local dealership, they are anything but that.
