“Lovely little general store with fresh local produce and a refill station for milk plus plants to purchase outside. Great that it does the Yodel parcel collection! Very friendly and helpful staff too!”

“Did a weekly shop at Lidl rather than Tesco to see if it was any cheaper. Went towards the end of the day so this may have affected stock levels, but found that they had run out of certain essentials, meaning we had to go to Tesco afterwards anyway. If fully stocked, the general selection of fresh produce, meat and dairy seemed good. Good bakery selection too at reasonable prices. It was a calmer environment with more pleasant lighting than Tesco, and we didn't feel too rushed at the till.In terms of the cost, Lidl seemed fairly equal to Tesco. Some things were cheaper, but we would have saved on other products in Tesco using the Clubcard, so it seems like the cost would balance out. Lidl is probably cheaper for a small, essentials shop.”

“Apart from the out of town Tesco's, this is the nearest thing we have to a supermarket now in Redruth. It's not the biggest but it is friendly and carries most necessities.”

“Excellent service from Nigel and Darryl.I needed a repair to my Saab after a breakdown whilst on holiday, nobody around the Truro area could help me within 2-3 weeks but Lanner moved things around to give me priority service! Repair carried out and charged fairly.Highly recommended.”

“I do my monthly shop here regularly and I reckon I spend £50 less than I would at Tesco. Great fresh fruit and veg, 1kg of bacon for £4.xx, that size pack is even £7+ at Iceland! Aldi baked beans are better than the Heinz beans for flavour. I like the big bloomer loaves, tortilla wraps, coffee, . I would not go anywhere else. I love it. And don't forget all the special goods they have in the middle two aisles! I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought at Aldi. This store also has a public loo and that is super special in these stores!”

“Large store with in-store pharmacy. Cafe and Timpsons store outside, for keys, dry cleaning, watch battery repair. Some can be done whilst you shop. In-store cafe. Bulk buy areas. Rowe's bakery in-store franchise, selling pasties saffron goods and other bakery goods. Is currently competing with the cheaper local stores by price matching.”

“Perfectly decent shop. Not somewhere you could do a full week's worth however if you need to grab some essentials and a few novelties whilst on holiday or sat on the beach, it's a decent place to go. The stock is up and down but everything is generally available at some point or another.”

“Great shop with a very popular cafe. Plenty of parking to be had but remember to bring a pound coin for your trolley. Plus when you're done your weekly shop you can top up on fuel in the on site filling station or even give it a clean with its car wash and vac facilities.”
