Carn to coast endeavour to give excellent service to all their patients and I have personally experienced that service. I have enjoyed a good relationship with all the staff, for almost 60 years!

I?ve been going to Carn to coast at pool health centre, for years now and the doctors are always respectful and helpful and the receptionists are very kind and helpful and will take the time to listen.

Attended Pool Health Centre today for a blood test. I found the self check in screen quick and easy to use. I was seen on time. Carol was very friendly and did a first class job of taking my blood. Thank you Carol. I have nothing but praise for all the Carn to Coast staff, they are all very helpful.

The new phone system is ridiculous, yes it is helpful to have a ring back system but when you phone the line for a query and spend 1 minute listening to the GP talking then select the option you want only to have a non dial tone tell you that there isn't any room to wait so hangs up on you. Why not sort a system where is gives an engaged tone first off instead of having to listen to the GP and assume that you are going into the wait system to speak to someone. Yet another thing to confuse and upset elderly people and those with mental health issues. It took me 5 attempts to finally get through. If I had an engaged tone straight off I wouldn't be wasting 5 minutes of time trying to get through. I could just redial straight away. Please sort this out as its very unhelpful and frustrating for everyone.

My father came out of hospital at the end of march and a note was sent to the doctor to arrange a review in 2-4 weeks. A text was received on 04/04 confirming that they would be in touch to arrange this. A blood test was taken 10/04 but we have yet to receive the results as of 01/05!. A text was received on 01/05 stating that the results would be reviewed on the 27/05!!!!!. Considering that my 85 year old father was in hospital for low blood count you would have thought that this was reviewed sooner.

Polite and helpful staff who care even though they are are extremely busy and dealing with many patients in the area.
I have always found GPs respectful, understanding and being able to help and advise or refer you if the needs must.

The staff are great and never had an issue with anyone, but thats once i get the surgery to respond, this can take days into weeks. For someone who is struggling with poor metal health, I sometimes find the Klinik system a struggle to use, especially on bad days. Then I wait about 2 to 3 days for a message to tell me someone will be in touch withing 10 days. To someone who is sometimes so low that life is unbearable and start thinking of ways out, this is not a good option. Recently my repeat medication requests have taken 8 and 9 days to be approved and has left me without medication, this is not good for someone with severe anxiety and depression. I approached the chemist for emergency medication to be told emergency has to be approved by doctor and they struggle to get the surgery to respond.
I have tried putting prescriptions earlier to have them rejected as too early. I am feeling the barrier to get through to see the wonderful staff is too hard. And now I am thinking I am unwanted. Stuck between a hard place and a rock. I am at my wits end.
I am advised they triage requests, is thinking of ending my life not serious enough? is having a break down and severe depression not serious enough? I need to reach the lovely doctors, nurses and other support staff without having to beg on my knees.

Never had a problem with them. Same day appointment when I require one. Very polite receptionists ( who have to deal with alot of rude people). Would recommend

After 42 yrs with this surgery, what a difference now!! The amazing DrsJoseph, moon and mchenry, when GP where GPS and would see and know their patients, devastating to see the down fall off modern GP units now, including this centre! After recently trying on klinic for an appointment to be told 2-4 weeks, I placed another to ask for more recent appointment, to be told, if that's what you have been told that's it!...... Now lucky enough to find another GP surgery in my catchment area, who saw me after 5 days pull yourself together pool health centre! People don't want to go to the GP,! They have too..... And I am sure the local hospitals don't want us there for minor issues, as your receptionist advice me to do if I couldn't wait!!!! .... !

The carnto coast let my sister down especially Dr Mowlam my sister got a phone call from her and I begged for doctor to go see her at her home as she was really struggling with her breathing pains in belly sick not eating not drinking unable to get out of bed liquid poo in her colostomy bag but all Dr Mowlam did was phone call and put it down to anxiety and did not bother to help her my sister died the next day at the age of 56 years old I even gave the doctor my number on Klinik but I was not called so I could be with my sister so she did not die alone on phone call my sister asked for doctor to call me but she never did just left my sister to die these Klinik are rubbish cost my sister her life I think carnto coast should get rid of Kliniks and the doctor Dr Mowlam should do the right thing and quit as who is going to suffer next who is the next person or family that she is going to destroy like she has done to mine I will never get over what she has done and never forgive her for just leaving my sister and letting her down and letting her die all alone what she went through before she died destroys me as I feel I let her down as she was all alone Dr Mowlam as never said anything to me nothing got another doctor to say sorry for youre sisters deathher nothing shows she don't care please do not see her as you and you're family could be suffering like I am and always will

Keep getting my repeat prescription wrong. Can?t get an appointment let alone see someone face to face! That klinik form is a joke. Patient care is awful, my husband was told they didn?t pay much attention when he put something on his form as everyone says that! Appalling.
