Following a disappointing visit to the store, I felt this criticism should be made. In short, if you no longer have a post office within the store, would it not be a decent, courteous and quite straightforward task to simply cover up the sign on the front? We saw the sign, managed to luckily park in a limited space because we wished to use your clearly advertised post office! If you've got a spare hour, any chance of someone getting out there with a piece of plywood, and some screws, or a tin of paint? Thanks for the service..

Went here today 19/04/24 shop was closed even though the advertised times said it was open till 9pm literally bolted up

Went to buy bread, milk etc on a Monday at 7pm on a Monday and it was closed despite opening times saying it's open until 9pm. No sign in the window to explain.

Perfectly decent shop. Not somewhere you could do a full week's worth however if you need to grab some essentials and a few novelties whilst on holiday or sat on the beach, it's a decent place to go. The stock is up and down but everything is generally available at some point or another.

Handy to have this shop in the village, has a reasonable range of produce for a village shop. Good for picking up something for tea if you can't be bothered going to one of the larger shops in Redruth or Pool. I pop in most days as I live locally to use the post office (James who looks after the Post Office is an absolute star) the shop staff are all cheerful and helpful too. I especially appreciated the shop during lockdown when I didn't really want to venture far from home. Thanks all...well done.
