We never stay here just went for drinks and a meal. The pub was full of friendly locals, the staff were very helpful recommending the dishes they thought the best for us, lots of local beers and dog friendly.The fish pie was fantastic, very tasty! We wished we?d found this pub earlier in our holidays we would definitely used it more.

Tried the pub twice for dinner and was disappointed both times with the food. Quite pricy for below average food : fish pie said locally caught fish, but it was salmon. Beef burger was dry, bun untoasted and the salad was just sad. The curry was quite dry as well. The food just lacked some soul

Food not good bbq sauce diabolical didn't know if I was eating beef or pork ribs sauces are meant to compliment.

Had a wonderful stay at this friendly rural pub. Food was amazing, Real Ale was first class as well as the chilled wine. The Staff where so helpful and understanding with my nervous little dog. Great to see a Gem of a pub like this still exists.

Excellent pub food, good range on menu and specials nicely served, good size portions & reasonable prices. Great value & service, lovely welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Will be back.

Lovely pub. The couple who run the place were friendly and spoke to us for a while about their experience with the area and history. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and so glad we were told to go there. The food is also delicious and the other guests were welcoming and kind. No fault to be found here. Just a great recommendation if you?re looking for something close or happen to be near. Would come again in the future for sure.

A lovely village pub in a beautiful village. The hosts Bobby and Kara and all the staff are fantastic. The food is also excellent.

On holiday nearby veryan caravan club site. It's a half hour walk from site. Fabulous food great value for money and fantastic staff who are all amazing. A plus for Bobby n Kara. Fabulous
