Stopped here for a bite to eat. Lovely food and my first crab of the trip. The food was plentiful, good variety and very tasty. Lovely cosy surroundings. The views would be stunning, but, for better weather. Had to visit purely as a Doc Martin fan. To tread in there shoes, so to speak. You have to park slightly out of the village and walk in, all downhill. So, ensure you have taken on food and water, it's a steep trek back. Worth a visit any time of year. First picture, white building top, middle is the school house.Walkability: Steep walk down to the bay and very severe back to the top.Food & drinks: Plentiful, many outlets even in the off season.

I am a solo traveler, so I had a single (twin) bed, smaller room. The Physics room :) (all rooms are named after school subjects). The room was very clean, very organised, and really sweet. Bed was comfortable too, which is a big deal for me.The place is located overlooking the cove, it's quiet and picturesque.During my stay, I had interactions w/ 4 staff, all of whom were very friendly and helpful. The food. SO good. Dinner and breakfast. This is the most reasonable cost for my accommodations on this trip (keep in mind, smaller room), and so far, it's been the best.If I'm in the area again, this will be my first choice for places to stay.

Right in the centre of Port Isaac. Lovely room, small but nicely decorated. Decent bathroom with a great shower. A lovely quirky old building.Walkability: Very central to Port Isaac, quite a steep hill down to the harbour or up to the top of the village. Don't visit Port Isaac unless you can walk hills!Food & drinks: Good restaurant, breakfast rather basic but freshly cooked to order.

Dog friendly. Warm and friendly staff. Great food and love the way how they have converted the old school into a restaurant, bar and have rooms for guests to stay.Food & drinks: Great food good value for money and a great choice of drinks.
