We wanted to find a place for a decent brunch and after checking out the info in the folder in our cafe, we decided visit the Chapel Cafe. The food was delicious. Two had the full Cornish and the veggies had the vegetarian. It was delicious. The best bit for the veggies was the Homity Bon Bon - a fried-ball leeks, potatoes, cheese, onions, rolled in bread crumbs. Oh my, it was delicious. Coffees were good too and they did soya milk too, which pleased one of us. Really good value, quick service, rammed full and popular with the fishermen.

Also VERY Dog friendly they had water bowls and treats to help yourself also provided comfy dog beds for them even had a puppicino my dog loved it. All members of the family are well catered for. Stopped off in Port Issac for brunch and tried here after research told us it was dog friendly. Lovely place, friendly staff and reasonably priced excellent food - the Bon Bons are particularly good - good sized portions. Other entitled customers were a slight annoyance, there is no booking system but we waited for maybe 5 minutes before being seated. Others happily did the same while others ignored all signage and tried to take tables as they were vacated, ahead of those queuing, so maybe better, more visible signage is needed.

It was a very busy day, but the lovely staff managed to get us seated in the section at the top which allowed our dog to relax and enjoy his puppycino! Along with a dog bed for him to relax after the long walk. The afternoon tea was to die for! Beautifully presented and so yummy! The staff were very kind, funny and accommodating. Very reasonably priced too. This is one of the first places we?ve found which isn?t a tourist trap in the whole of Cornwall over a week long stay. Thank you for having us!!

Amazing so dog friendly. The lady and young man working were lovely they placed us and our two dogs in the pulpit so that we could close the little gates and have our own eating space. Breakfast was lovely the eggs Benedict and the poached eggs on toast were perfect. Was an amazing find.

Have visited before for lunch but popped in for breakfast this year and to be honest I wouldn?t go again. All three of us ordered poached eggs and all three arrived hard. The sausages were oily. The bacon was hard. The food has all clearly been kept under heat lamps for some time. It was also pretty expensive considering the quality.

We went in because it was dog friendly A nice clean place friendly staff and it appeared to have some nice snack options . We both ordered the world famous fish finger sandwiches with chips on seeded bread with salad Our pooch had a puppachino which she loved Unfortunately or sandwich and chips were dry so we both only ate about half the meal the salad had a lovely dressing .

The food was lovely and so well presented! We were welcomed by such a lovely lady who recommended us the most beautiful spot in the cafe as we had our dog with us. She led us to a pew at the back with small wooden doors to enclose us so we could let the dog off the lead. However we could still see everything still and take in the beautiful paintings and lights. She brought the dog water and treats which was so kind and we really enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommended and come again if we are ever in Port Issac again!

Came for breakfast after someone recommended it. It?s very busy so prepare to wait. It was a little slow understandably at first but once we got our order in everything came quickly. We had eggs Benedict and the avacado poached eggs dishes, both very nice and great coffee. It?s in an old chapel with many of the features still there which is nice.

Stopped on the spur of the moment. Superb tea room in a great setting. Friendly staff, etc. Great cream teas. Also, nice kids selection. Dogs also welcome.

An absolutely outstanding cafe with a friendly welcome. Food is great with a wide variety. My boxer dog will miss her morning visit.

We had a mediocre experience in the Chapel Cafe. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait for a table (which was fine because Port Isaac is small and there are limited options especially for those with food allergies.) After about 20 minutes, we were found and asked if we wanted to share a table of four with another two people (a ridiculous request and obviously we said no). After about 25 minutes, we finally got a table but we told we were too late for the breakfast which finished at 11:30am (even though we arrived around 11:15am), but we were too early to order lunch, which starts at 12 noon. It was about 11:45am when we got seated, and we were strictly told we could not order any food until 12 noon sharp. Had I known this when I initially asked for table, I probably wouldn?t have waited! When we did eventually order, I was quite shocked by the prices- paying over £10 for a jacket potato was a bit steep! The food was nice enough, but the ?famous? fish finger sandwich had an unholy amount of tartare sauce in it. All in all, not an amazing experience at the Chapel Cafe today. Nice place for a coffee and a slice of cake, but I sadly won?t be visiting again.

Lovely converted Wesleyan chapel in the heart of Port Issac. Fantastic sandwiches, cakes etc looked divine but didn?t partake. A lovely place to recharge after a few miles on the south west coastal path. Doubles as a gift shop so you get 2-4-1. Look up and around while your sat down ??
