We stopped in a few weeks ago for dinner as we were driving through the area. We all had pizzas and they were VERY good, if not a little on the pricey side. Service was nice and sitting outside was lovely.

We booked the Copley Arms for my birthday after searching high and low for a family and dog friendly pub/resturaunt. Im so glad that this was the one place that had availability for us all last minute! The food, service, staff friendliness and professionalism were nothing short of exceptional.
We sat in the left side of the pub on entry in a cosy corner with cushioned seating that was warm and welcoming. The food we enjoyed was delicious and the dogs also enjoyed snuggling up after a long day of exploring. The children enjoyed the play area too.
Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Cornwall in future.

Visited this pub several times and always nice. Food is delicious and range of Ales. Rooms were large and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Ordered a sirloin steak for £28. Was shocked when my plate came out which looked mostly bare. The steak looked fine but there was just a few chips and a biggish mushroom with a small tomato on top. That was it. For £28 I expected all the trimmings. When I complained they gave me a lot of peas and 5 burned tiny onion rings. Wont be rushing back in a hurry.

Having visited the restaurant for an evening meal, and to propose to my, now, fiancee. I can say that the atmosphere was perfect, the staff went above and beyond in making us welcome and even allowed the disruption whilst I proposed, following which they presented us with two glasses of champagne and two well dressed plates of local fudge with congratulations written in chocolate sauce.
I would definitely recommend this for a night out with, our without, the special occasion.
I cannot praise the staff enough for their help, involvement and general attendance to the needs of, not just out part, but everyone in the restaurant

I cannot comment on rooms as we did not stay here. However, if the rest of the experience was anything to go by, they would be exceptional.
The pub is a wonderful family friendly place, and very well suited to spend a long time eating and drinking? We went as a family of six, for a full three courses.
The variety of dishes is fantastic with vegetarian options available throughout.
I would recommend anyone who enjoys fresh fish to order the fresh cod. It was utterly incredible! Our party enjoyed a good selection of steak, risotto, Fish pie, pork (bring your stretchy trousers....this thing was huge!!) and vegetarian burger.
All mains were very tasty, and all finished in record time!
Our servers were all friendly, polite and attentive. We simply could not have asked for a better evening meal, and would recommend anyone in or around the area to try it.
My one and only negative comment would be that the current external building work means there is a skip taking up one of only two disabled parking spaces. We happened to need that with one of our party, but there is enough room to drop off anyone who requires it and carry on to park in the main car park.
Very happy, and would be back in a flash if we didn't live 200 miles away!!
