Masala - Where the Flavours Sing, the Staff are Legends, and You Leave with More Dinner Than You Planned!
So, Masala in Perranporth, what a cracking little spot. If you?re after proper tasty Indian food with flavours that pop, this is your place. Honestly, the food was delicious, so many flavours dancing around, I nearly started clapping and dancing, but I wouldn?t have minded just a touch more spice to really bring the heat. Nothing wrong with a little sweat-on-the-forehead moment, eh boys and girls?
Now, let?s talk about the staff, because they absolutely deserve a medal. Friendly, quick, and clearly running on equal parts efficiency and charm. Even when they had a little hiccup with the order, they handled it brilliantly.
We?d left with our takeaway and hadn?t even got home before they clocked it, called us and sorted it. We popped back (all of a mile and a half), and they handed us the correct meal, told us to keep the extra one and handed over a couple of bottles of Cobra for the trouble. That?s what I call service and a bonus dinner and beer on top!
So yeah, great place, great people, tasty food? just maybe turn that spice dial up a notch next time and we?re golden. Thanks for looking after us, and for making me feel like a king walking out with double dinner and free beer!

One of the best lamb madras I've had.
The quality of the lamb and chicken meat we had was exceptional.
Very efficient telephone ordering....no waiting.
Definitely reccomend and will use again.

Very loud inside due to the interior with no dampening (~58dB, max. 80) !!! I couldn?t hear myself speak?
Food was not bad and eveeything tasted fine? just not correctly spiced up for someone who?s used to an authentic Indian taste.
Yes? you can get an affordably cheap meal here.

Fantastic take-away while on holiday in Perranporth.
Food was good value and ready bang on 30 minutes after ordering - one of the tastiest Indian take-aways we have had!

We've been getting Indian from Masalla for the past 4 years every first night of our holiday and it's usually great. However, the lamb tikka masala I had was very watery and lamb extremely tough.
Garlic naan was basically a plain naan so I am so disappointed. Husbands Dhansak was good but I unfortunately I was not able to eat hardly any of mine as the quality was just not good at all.
