We had lovely breakfasts and praised the quick service. Unfortunately at our time of visit another group were dining in with a dog that constantly yapped loudly, which was extremely unpleasant but not reflective of the café. Clearly a family run business and I am pleased we ate there. Food wasn?t terribly priced - £11.50 on average for each person including a drink.

The food was fair to good, the coffee was very mediocre.
The worst part is the customer service.
They really need to get some training.
The greeting was brusk and unwelcoming.
I don?t need to have cash welcomed rammed down my throat,
3 other customers in the short time I was in there had the same issues and were discussing it outside while we ate.
The price is good for what you get.
If it wasn?t for the location this business would be in a world of difficulty, far greater than their credit card charges would create.
To be specific the lady of the house was very pleasant. Her husband needs to take another role in the business.

Frozen chips and you can't eat your take away on their benches, overall, a bit of a strange experience as we were asked to leave the picnic benches after buying our food.

Let down. This time last year beautiful hand cut chips. This year however, pre made frozen chips from the cash and carry.
A chip shop that can?t make chips.
Still a great location. And an echo the weird rule about not eating your take away on their picnic benches.

Overall, it's as expected, a local cafe ran by an older couple. The food is decent. But they had loads of weird rules. You can't sit outside if you pay for take away. They don't want to take care payments, but won't take a £50. You just order from the outside if you want take away, even though it's the same people and tile from the inside.
