I was really looking forward to a proper spicy Diavolo pizza, but what arrived was covered in loads of peppers, which is weird for a Diavolo pizza with absolutely no heat at all ? no chillis, and no spice. When I queried it, I was told the chillis were ?under the cheese,? but there weren?t any, and nothing was done to fix it. I felt fobbed off, to be honest.
Other meals at the table were fine, but service wasn?t great ? no check-in during the meal, no one asked us if we wanted desserts, and they forgot to deduct the £40 deposit from the bill. £5.60 for a small 330ml bottle of beer also felt steep.
The main issue for me was being served something that clearly wasn?t what I ordered, and then being brushed off.

What a lovely trip to Del Mar we had. Me and my partner both had pasta dishes and they were quite literally amazing, seasoned perfectly. We had bread and olives to start, the olive oil was high quality indeed and the olives steeped in oregano were fresh and delightful. Thanks once again to the amazing front of house staff and highly skilled chefs for our evening there

The food here was to die for. The gnocchi tasted just like my nonna used to make in Italy. The rest of the food was equally as good with fresh fish dishes cooked to perfection.

Lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of Perranporth. I can?t believe we?ve never chose to eat here before; highly recommended. Food, staff and ambience were perfect. Visited with hubby and teenage son. The lobster linguine was delicious and the pizzas a decent size. All the dishes look delicious it?s hard to choose. Can?t wait to visit again. Special mention to Sulema our server.

some of the best Italian food I?ve had in a while, and the food came pretty fast considering how busy it was(took around 15-25 minutes and the resteraunt was full). The service was very good, the waiters and waitresses were funny and polite. Would definitely return, 10/10. ?

Where do I begin?.I had booked a table prior to arriving at the restaurant. When going in, our table was not ready and the staff had stated that we hadn?t booked. They then corrected themselves and apparently they had found the booking. They then placed two tables together. I had my two year old son with me and a high chair wasn?t even offered, even though I had spoken with staff on the phone earlier on in the day to state that I needed one.
The staff were rude apart from the young girl working there. It was almost like an inconvenience any of us were there. Considering they had a line of willing paying customers, none of us felt welcomed into the restaurant. The staff were shouting at each other across the restaurant over diners in Italian. This was extremely unprofessional.
Upon clearing tables, they would not communicate with you and would just grab a hold of glasses or plates whilst leaning over you not putting your personal space into consideration.
The food was mediocre, we ordered a minestrone soup as a main but were given a dirty look and told it?s a starter. When asking if the chef could make a well known Italian dish, again another dirty look was exchanged and the staff were dismissive of this and said they would ask the chef and shrugged their shoulders.
Overall I will NOT be re-attending this restaurant, which is a shame as I have been coming here for years. I am surprised that it is still open if I am honest. No wonder the locals say to go elsewhere, I should have listened!

Booked for a party of 7 earlier in the day. On arrival, staff couldn?t find our booking. Once they did, they pushed two tables together and directed us to sit in the conservatory?right by the entrance and the takeaway/payment area?despite empty tables in the main dining room. When I politely asked if we could move to the warmer, more welcoming area, a male member of staff refused with, ?This is where 7 people sit,? delivered in an unnecessarily rude manner. Menus were then slammed on the table without so much as eye contact.
Drinks were another let?down: we were told there were no low/no?alcohol options and not even a sugar?free soft drink (e.g., Coke Zero). I ordered the soup of the day (minestrone), asking if it could be a main. The waitress abruptly replied, ?It?s a starter.? My soup arrived before the rest of the table because of that, and it was watery with random vegetables?certainly not a recognisable minestrone.
Overall, the attitude from staff made us feel like we weren?t welcome. Between the seating refusal, the curt service, and the disappointing soup, I decided to leave and eat next door at Wetherspoons, where the food was fine and I could actually get a zero?alcohol beer. A real shame?hospitality starts with basic courtesy and a willingness to help guests feel comfortable. Avoid and go elsewhere, we certainly won?t be returning. Such a shame used to be a lovely place.

Best meal since being in Perranporth! Staff absolutely superb! So welcoming ?? Would 100% recommend we have even booked for Friday! For our last meal before we go back home!! By far one of the the best Italians we have had! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced!

This is my second visit to this restaurant after 2 years and happy to find the food still amazing. I had the vegetarian lasagne and it had a lovely tangy tomato taste and for dessert the apple pie with ice-cream. My friends had the tiramisu and said it was delicious.

Very nice people, but unfortunately extremely average/below average, and overpriced food. Better off cooking something at home.

After a very successful take away a few weeks ago we decided to try and eat in, although the food did not disappoint, the service was very pour.
Staff was rude (not everyone but majority) handling customers belongings on the table, banging drawers, slamming doors, there is no pleasantries or finesse. Service felt rushed, unpleasant and the restaurant wasn?t even that full.
For a family run business it has none of the expected warm and welcoming qualities of a family run business, the constant change of waiter, regular shouting and loud squawking walkie-talkies, certainly did not add to the experience.
Food is very good but not good enough that I would consider enduring the bad manners.
