Why is the post box situated at the very back of the store? Very long queues that aren't separate for counter or self service....or even just posting letters. No longer any counter space to attach stamps ( that's not blocked by customers) so in order to free up a machine one has to move to another area of the store then go back to get to the post box.Very poorly designed .

2 queues outside to get in. A staff member on the door controlling how many people in/out, she couldn?t increase her responsibility to also get folks to be in one queue. Mass confusion. Then a 30 min wait in the queue to use the Post Office as only one cashier was open while the other was loudly looking for £100 worth of missing stamps. Staff member was rude, explained curtly that Royal Mail & the Post Office are not the same thing following a general enquiry I had. No wonder folks are using online and other delivery services.

This is supposed to be Penzances main Post office, but with part time opening times, self service machines that rarely work and rude staff, i mainly post elsewhere....should never have closed the main post office which is now a derelict building to join the other dead shops. #torybritain

This branch in Penzance the staff here are just the most friendliness and so helpful as i was using the post office there was 2 elderly customers queuing up with a tissue covering there mouth as they forgot there masks. One of the staff from WHsmith kindly came over and offered them both some masks. Always very well organised and clean store. 10/10

They should improve on refunds for gift cards because I went to WHSmith in Penzance on Friday the 26th of February and brought two gift cards from WHSmith only to find one of the gift card not to work so I went back to WHSmith on Saturday the 27th of February and they told me that it was not their responsibility to offer refunds according to their Store policy because I made the purchase on Friday, the 26th of February and I brought it back on Saturday, the 27th of February and they told me that because had been more than 30 minutes from the store it was not their responsibility to offer me a refund. I am never buying gift from WHSmith again

Not often anyone to serve you just a self service machine. I prefer to have a member of staff look after me

Smiths has a wide range of books and stationery and school supplies and now with the Post Office in store there are even more reasons to visit! Very friendly, helpful staff who can guide you in your choices at mainly acceptable prices...

The post Office within dreadful rude staff. The women that I refer to 40 ish long hair proffered to gossip with a friend rather than serve. An official complaint was made by 3 of us that waited and waited. Then when someone asked would she mind doing her job the women was abusive.
