“Londis and a post office which also sells some wonderful flapjacks and cakes made by a local cafe shop owner. Worth going for the salted caramel flapjacks alone. Plenty of ice, bbq goods and local butchers meats all topped of by lovely and friendly staff.”

“It's a Co-Op. Large enough to feed arriving sailors and well visited by the local inhabitants. Opening hours far exceed everything in this area. They do sell fresh produce in the morning.”

“I visited Sainsbury's in Penzance near the end of a 280 mile drive. The petrol was reasonably priced, but not cheap. It was a relief to use their toilet. And I was able to buy a presentable bunch of flowers for my hosts. All of this without leaving my planned route.Excellent.”
