Had rented from them for two years with no issues from our end, was sent a letter saying the landlord required the property edit:turns out he's just leasing it p sure but still lol. Asked them for help multiple times in finding a new place, which they did not. Emailed them about an abusive tenant in our building, had zero reply. And they also tried demanding a full month's rent for two week's worth of stay. Staff rude and treat tenants like a nuisance.

I rented a property from these clowns. One of the worst living experiences of my life. The flat was noisy beyond belief. Tried to get them to soundproof the windows which they never did. They only care about money and could care less about their tenant's wellbeing. Would never rent with them again.And if that wasn't enough, they charged me a fee to paint the walls after I left, meaning I lost money on my deposit despite the flat being in excellent condition.They're willing to let out below par properties and expect high prices.Bottom of the barrel service .

I have been in the property market for more than 20 years and dealt with many letting agencies in London and Penzance and found Marshall more professional very responsive and give the best quality service. I had many problems with other agents to stage I was thinking to sell my properties as I could not cope from far away but I must mention this to landlords like myself, Marshall saved my business. All staff are professional, I deal mainly with Adam that I found extremely helpful and always look after my interests and the interests of tenants. I dealt also with Liam in the account department that is always ready to help. I strongly recommend this agency.

AVOID AS LETTING AGENTS. I rented a property via Marshalls in 2019 which turned out to have a catalogue of things wrong with it and the way Marshalls treated me was appalling. After I moved in the property had fleas (presumably from the owners cat who was there before we moved in)...eventually this was dealt with after a couple of months and the pest control person treating the property twice. It was pretty stressful including having to pick fleas out of my toddlers hair for days on end...I was offered £100 off rent which I accepted but to be honest I probably spent half of that repeatedly boil washing linens and buying Flea treatments myself because it was taking so long to get sorted via their pest control people. A few months later the smell in the downstairs of the property was getting worse and worse but we thought it was related to the fairly damp living room so ignored it for a while. One day we came downstairs and there was a large dead rat in the hall way...on moving the furniture around we found loads of droppings in the downstairs. Because of the smell we then decided to look under a floor board and found pools of fetid water under the floor. We contacted Marshalls and they arranged for pest control again and a builder which found that the sewer pipe had burst and sewage was leaking under the floor. Likely access point for rats too. At this point I had a 2 year old in the house and was 8 months pregnant myself so decided (not unreasonably I dont think) it was unsafe to live in the property with raw sewage under the floor and rats inside so I moved out to my parents house. Marshalls took action to sort the problems that were identified but would not offer me a penny off rent and made me feel unreasonable for asking despite the immense stress this had put on me and my family. I literally moved house a week before giving birth to my daughter. Despite what they said I do not feel the property was safely habitable and I should have been apologised to and compensated. In the end I handed in my notice and in total paid 7-8 weeks of full rent for a property I couldn't live in. They then had the audacity to take money off my deposit for not cleaning adequately despite actually spending 2 full days cleaning on my hands and knees heavily pregnant after all that I had been through with the house and the amount of cleaning and scrubbing I did after the fleas, rats and building work. Throughout the whole process they seemed completely on the side of the heartless landlord, preoccupied with profit at all costs and didn't show an ounce of compassion to me as the tenant with a small child. I would really warn against using them as a letting agent.
