Location 8 minutes from bus and train station. The bathroom spot is less but needs updatingWalkability: If you like walking then I'll recommend it. 2 hours walk in one direction and 2 hours in the opposite direction.

I'd highly recommend booking this hotel for a Cornwall trip! It was in the perfect location especially for St Michael's Mount. The rooms are lovely and the service of the staff is outstanding. Ashama made us feel extremely welcome and she is so friendly. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. If you're looking for a hotel in Cornwall then don't hesitate to book this one. I would recommend booking a parking space at the hotel at the time of booking as on street parking is very limited and not guaranteed. They also have electric charging points for electric vehicles if you've booked a parking bay. The hotel has great views of the sea and St Michael's Mount.

We were so disappointed with the food served at this hotel. Not only were the portion size inconsistent for the same meal the desserts were less than basic. Do not waste your time and money dinning is the vasty plastic flowered room. If the waiter wasn't so accommodating we would have walked out without paying.

We had some initial problems with our room choice but the staff (Eddie, Terry, and Rahul) sorted everything out and we had a most wonderful stay. No words can describe the magic of the sea view over to St Michael?s Mount. Our room (no.12) was superb, with bath, massive comfortable bed, and a view to die for. The breakfast was lovely: there is a dedicated egg chef, as in many international hotels. The cheese board was fantastic. In all, an excellent hotel, well worth the money. Rahul Sharma is an excellent and very helpful manager.

Definitely not a four star hotel. Downstairs of hotel was lovely shame about the rooms.Awful sea view room ( St Constantine) up lots of steep flights of steps. Room was dusty, carpet full of stains, very loose toilet seat that trapped your legs when sat on it. Coffee table was extremely sticky on edge where drinks had dripped down only top of table cleaned. Bathroom door lock kept sticking and on a couple of occasions I nearly got locked in. The bed was supposed to be a Kingsize but actually two singles pushed together. The bed was extremely uncomfortable as it was like sleeping on a plank of wood. We had the worst nights sleep ever. Ceiling lights were full of cobwebs, dirty marks and scuffs on walls and skirting boards. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Supposed to be a full English ( See photo) no flavour, this was two fried eggs. Toast was the cheapest bread again awful. We paid extra for breakfast but was unable to eat any of it. £259 we were charged for this rubbish and to top it off you pay £8.95 for parking. Absolute rip off. We complained on check out and were offered £60 compensation refund. I'm now chasing the refund that was offered on 13th Sept. Would not recommend this place and will not be returning

The room (20) resembled none of the lovely photos. It was above the kitchen , with a recessed small window with blinds that did not close. The room was unbearably hot with no moving air and certainly no view of anything except a cement wall. Despite its location on the very top floor, it felt like a dungeon. This room should not be rented out. Public rooms are lovely. Manager was hardworking and eager. Staff attentive. Food very good. Room was a disaster.

Something just doesn't quite feel right about this hotel, the room seemed ok at first glance but then you start to notice things, for example our bathroom sink tap didn't function correctly, the shower had a missing door and generally the bathroom needed a good scrub clean. Breakfast wasn't great either, but the hotel tried hard with it. Key takeaway for us is that the hotel is overpriced when compared with the many others we have stayed at on this trip in Devon, Dorset and Cornwall
